What's New in Crossline
1.4.2
October 18, 2026
What’s new in Crossline 1.4 • Generate storyboard pictures in the app. Add your own Google Gemini or OpenAI API key, then generate a single panel or fill every empty panel at once. The picture is billed to your own account; Crossline adds nothing. • Eyes and eyelines. Choose where each performer looks — another performer, an object, the lens or their own hands — and what their eyes are doing: rolling, wide, narrowed, a sideways glance and more. Apply a look to every beat in one tap. • Props in hand. Give a performer a prop for a beat and choose which hand. It travels with them and is described the same way in every frame. • My props. Save a prop with its size, height and description, and reuse it in every project. • Remove a performer from a scene. They stay in your cast and in your other scenes. • Arrange the storyboard. Drag panels into the order you want to present them, and untick frames to leave them out, without touching your cut order or continuity checks. • Import pictures in order. Pick a batch of generated frames and they fill the empty panels in board order, or turn on Replace to overwrite a board you’ve regenerated. • Eyelines are drawn on the plan, and frame schematics now point at what each person is actually looking at. • See the exact AI prompt for any storyboard panel, and copy it. • Sharper AI prompts: every face is given a clear eyeline, looks at people out of shot name the side of frame, and head turns are spelled out. • Clearer messages when a key, billing or account verification needs attention.
