Crosswalk

I've had this app for years and it's been great. However it's recently developed a problem I cannot fix. Whenever I switch from Avenue to Streets, the app inextricably closes. I've deleted and reinstalled, which was of no significance. Trying to report the problem and get help has been like trying to fix the app!!

Has promise but falls short, literally

While not nearly as feature-rich as some of its many competitors, this app does have some uncommon elements I appreciate, like the cross-street calculator that decodes Manhattan addresses, and the idea of having its own map that aims to be geographically accurate.

Yet when they updated that map to include the Second Avenue line, they somehow failed to notice that they were missing the #7 train's extension to 34th St.-Hudson Yards, which predates the Second Avenue line's opening!

This is all the more surprising because the developers claim to be New Yorkers who use the app themselves. I hope they will get back to work and apply the attention to detail the app deserves and requires.

Don't download.

It gives inaccurate info and the company seems MIA.
There are other options.

Does not work wth IOS 8

Freezes on number streets. Can't seem to contact developer. Looks like Orpahn ware.

Don't depend on this App!

I relied on this app this weekend, To my detriment.
Their Service alert stated that the 7 subway train had good service. When I went to transfer onto the 7 train, the entrance Was roped off. There was no seven train service in or out of Manhattan.
The alerts arel unreliable and the app is untrustworthy.
