Fun but ads…
This game itself is great! But a subscription service to remove ads makes me want to delete it and get a different one. I’m normally fine with a one time payment to remove ads but $8 every month that I don’t want an ad every time I play a mini crossword that takes less than a minute is not my idea of fun…

The packs are a nice idea. But the categories are not clear and never relevant to the category name. Needs some real work on that creativity and user aspect. Most bothersome thing is the daily bonus. Choose from three chests, and in a month it has never been anything but 20 coins. What is the point of alienating users with a bogus bonus?

I play this game with my 85 yr old mom and she loves it. The ads are very frustrating for her so we looked into going ad free. Most games I’ve played charge around 10 dollars to go ad free but these greedy folks want almost 50 for a year. Only giving one star because of that!

I really love this app but the ads become unbearable after a point, especially if I’m working on the mini crosswords or the theme that changes every few days. At that point, there’s an ad about every thirty seconds! I would be more than happy to spend some money on removing the ads if this app wasn’t a subscription and the subscription wasn’t FIFTY DOLLARS A YEAR. Sorry but that is way too expensive for a crossword app. Plus, the only other benefit to subscribing is 1000 coins. If ad removal was changed to a one time payment I would absolutely be willing to support, but I just cannot justify a subscription. Otherwise this is my favorite crossword app.

Spelling errors
I’ve seen a lot of spelling errors in the clue part, but now have found a spelling error in the puzzle itself. Is there an e-mail or number to share the screen shot of these errors?

Still getting ads after paying 7.99 a month it's infuriating. I'm not getting 50 a day but I'm still getting at least one every time I try to play

In general, the puzzles are good, but their content quality control is quite low. There are often errors and inconsistent formatting in the clues. However, this time was the worst I’ve seen. I solved the crossword correctly but it said it was incorrect. I couldn’t figure out where. So I used 50 points to get the letters and it replaced one of the words with not only a completely unrelated answer to the (horizontal) clue but one that also invalidated every one of the related vertical words. When presented to them they agreed that it was an error on their side, apologized but would not refund or credit the points used to reveal their error saying they had no way to do it. However since points can be bought they have to have a way to credit points to people when there are issues or Apple would remove them from the store.

Spelling errors in a crossword?
It seems to be a bit counter intuitive to have spelling errors in crossword clues. For a game where spelling is paramount you’d think this would be priority.
Also, the jump from English to American spellings of words is rather irritating.

Captivating
The crosswords are fun and easy enough to feel successful. Love the letters given and the way letters are produced when you get a word. Addictive!
Was fun until spelling flaws
A good game until I started running into obvious spelling errors on the game’s part. Annoying when you have to waste coins solving their misspellings. Deleting now and going with something else.

It’s a bit of a scam as about once per week you get a crossword with a very obviously wrong answer that screws up the whole thing and you have to spend your coins to figure out what their version of the answer is. I tried contacting them about it but received no response.
