Love this app
Crosswort is the best. It’s fun but it’s also been so helpful for me. I appreciate the clever clues - it’s made me giggle a few times - and features like dark mode so I can play as I’m falling to sleep :) and it’s cool to see how much more Spanish I’m understanding in everyday life. It tricks your brain, in a sense, because you take in a lot but it doesn’t feel like studying. It seems like there’s an infinite offering of half-baked apps, but this one feels unique and intentional, and I always look forward to playing.

Duolingo meets the NYT crossword
I really love Crosswort! I’ve been trying to learn French, and crosswort makes practicing feel easy and fun instead of feeling like I’m studying. The puzzles make me think, but they’re not so hard that I get frustrated.
I’ve already picked up a bunch of new words without even realizing it. Definitely recommend if you’re learning a language and want something that feels more like a game than homework!
