Becomes impossible
Great game at first but too many advertisements. I enjoyed it enough to go ad free, but shortly thereafter it just becomes ridiculous. You start with four and six or more opponents start with 250 each, and they all run right at you even if it is suicide for them. There are some tricks to using the mines and running towards other armies while being chased, but it entirely gets to a point of no winning unless you are lucky enough to build up an army big enough to get the others to stop chasing you fast enough.

A game to pass time
The only issue I have is that you don’t have that much control on the direction you move. If a little D pad can be updated into the game that could fix the direction control and field of view since your thumb or finger wouldn’t be in the way of keeping an eye out for other players off screen.
AI targets you
I’m on level 15 and the AI goes after me at the very start and once I collect house they just claim those houses where I don’t have enough time to get one guy before the other AI takes it. And it’s non stop targeting. So voodoo please fix your AI it could be a very good game if you change some differences like make the AI not target you as much, get some unlockable characters, and maybe better graphics but the graphics are fine but you could make them a little better.

Completely broken game, spams ads
The concept of the game is great and could be really fun. But like most reviews say the ai will lock on to you and hunt you down on top of the fact that the ai players are leveled up higher than you. They will not hunt each other down anywhere near as aggressively as they’ll hunt you, and they’ll blatantly team up to take you down. This is completely game breaking as the game can’t be played fairly as if each team were an actual player.
Also there are SO MANY ADS, the app is just clickbait for ads, the game itself is broken completely

Pretty Obnoxious
Do not download this game. If they make some fixes then I'll change my mind but the AI is awful. First of all, every round you start off at a massive disadvantage (you have like 30% of the amount of people each AI has) and second, once they Target you there's no escape. You can occasionally get out of it if you're lucky and you run them into obstacles/other big AIs but then the other AI will just follow you. If they fix these things I'll change my review.

It’s challenging and I like that!
I know a lot of people are complaining that the AI chases you down; I have definitely had a few annoying rounds like that. However, that’s when I developed a strategy and the game started getting a little more fun.
In the game, there are arrows around your screen, showing you the general direction of where the other teams are and the number of units in their crowd. I use this to avoid other crowds while I collect more units, unless I can see that that I have more units than another team, in that case I will chase them down and eliminate them. If I do, however, happen to run into run into a bigger crowd AI that locks onto me I will either run towards another crowd that is as big as them to deter them, or I will continuously run their crowd through the spike balls that are found throughout the various maps.
I hope my review will help some of these other reviewers who are struggling to enjoy the game, because it can be fun. 4 stars because ads tho. Hate those, but I know everybody gotta make their money somehow so it’s whatevs.

Awful AI
This is the worst AI I have ever seen!!!!! It makes me want to throw my phone at the wall. If you come within 1000 yards of an enemy bigger than you I will hunt you down till your dead, and It will kill you. What’s even worse Is the AI for people is smaller than you. You might as well be in the receiving end of a Japanese attack because I swear there are hoards of mind less bots all ganging up on you to ensure they either take every tower you take no matter how dumb the move is or they will kamikaze into you till the point you have 5 people left. This AI is so unbearable I had to uninstall this game would be amazing if they took the time to make an AI over the IQ of 2.

Hope you like ads
They make this game almost impossible to win, every other “team” o start out with is nearly double what I start with and their houses produce units nearly instantly. I can tell I’m playing against robots because they go for me instead of obviously better plays and when they kill me they stay in one place almost to gloat. They make it impossible for you to win so that you have to watch ads because that’s how they make money. I wish I could give them 0 stars

Needs some work
Really is a truly fun game, but definitely needs some work. The chase algorithm needs some work, I don’t think any human would chase another player around as long as these AI do. It ruins the game for the player, you can’t win if an opponent decides to dedicate the rest of the game to chasing you and ruining your game. Also the game crashes and lags up A LOT! Gets an additional star under the minimum because admittedly, it is super fun.

How does Apple allow this
I’m seriously confused how this even gets into the App Store. Extreme low quality game, ridiculously filled with ads, and gameplay literally doesn’t even work. Game is unplayable ..?? All the AIs target the entire game, and they will commit suicide just to kill you. That’s not a game lol it’s just a pause between ads. Not sure how Apple allows such trash on their AppStore. Also, if you actually want to attempt to play this trash, TURN ON AIRPLANE MODE, at least you can die over and over without seeing ads.

Classic Voodoo Game - Cash Grab Garbage
Exactly that. The first few levels and overall premise is fun, which is why I downloaded it. But after level 6 or so, literally every opponent has twice as much power as you from the start. So you have to watch an ad to keep up... every game. Including if you buy the “get rid of ads” thing, which SHOULD have been mentioned btw. Pay $3 to get rid of ads! ... but not all of them. Actually, almost none of them.
This game was built as a revenue stream and once their ads no longer bring enough players, they’ll be done with the game. Classic voodoo.

Avoid
Get a different game. The AI is awful, only targets you, and there is 6 of them that lock onto you and come to destroy you. The only way to win is to hid for 10 minutes and let half of the AI kill each other and hope you don’t get locked onto. The AI will chase you for a solid 2 years until it kills you. You could run way out of their view and within a couple seconds the AI will be right on you again. Not to mention the AI levels up ungodly fast so they will max out their power and you’re fighting at 1/3 of their levels/upgrades and the only way to upgrade to their level is to sit down and watch 30 second ads for about 4 hours. Voodoo creates fun games if they weren’t so overstuffed with ads and they are just money grubbing. I hate this developer and I hate that they can make good games and ruin them with ads. Get a different game!

It’s not really that good lol
First off, there is an ad after literally every single game whether you win or lose. Be prepared to sit through or skip tons of ads. Second, the games are way too short and the map is way too small. Third, I’ve noticed my crowd maxes out at 80 while there are people with 120+ crowds. This game really isn’t that good. People only download it because it’s a fun concept created by Voodoo, who if you didn’t know copies and pastes all of their games and throws a ton of ads in there so they can make their money through ad revenue. It’s fun to download, play a game or two, and then delete. Other than that, not all that great.

Game ruined after last update.
I loved this game. I grinder like there was no tomorrow just because it was that fun. But NOW, this game is IMPOSSIBLE to play unless you watch ads. And on top of that, you don’t even have a chance unless you watch DOZENS of ads just for upgrades.
Before this update, I was starting out with a few less numbers than the AI but I made up for it by having my troop towers generate a new troop every 5 seconds. Ever since the update, however, I now start with significantly lower numbers than the AI. I’m at roughly 35 troops and the AI start out with well over 100 causing them to follow you and never stop until you die, giving you 0 chance. And as if that wasn’t enough, their towers generate a new troop every second if not less than a second.
In conclusion, this game is now unplayable unless I watch ads for maybe 2 or 3 days. I can’t even upgrade with coins because I die now within mere seconds of the start. So thank you. Thank you so much for that. I’m not sure what you all for thinking, but it didn’t work at all. I’ll keep the app installed while I wait for a fix, but know I have no hope of playing it until then.

Targeting non-stop
I love the concept of this game, but it’s really frustrating and annoying whenever you’re low and a bit starts targeting you. There’s nothing you can do and they won’t leave you alone until you get more people, which is nearly impossible when you have no time to claim any new houses while all of the houses you already have are being claimed by some other bot

Timewaster with bugs
Edit: (downgraded from 3 stars to 1) the app struggles to load some times. It also has one entire level that’s not finished. Like white backgrounds and broken edges of the game. Also, if you pass the 25th level then it starts repeating, so it says on one screen level 26, and another screen says level 1 (and so on). Glitchy game that’s fun to play if you don’t mind the bugs and constant barrage of ads.
The game is ok. Gives you a couple minutes of fun. But it seems like you gotta spend lots of time playing AND watching ads (to get upgrades) if you want to win and progress.

Garbage
Tons of ads. AI’s only target you and you can do nothing to give yourself an advantage. Nice premise, ruined by what ruins all mobile games nowadays: greed. Nobody makes a good mobile game cause they are passionate over it, just for ad revenue and money and this game is another example. Ad after every 2 minute level and trying to get you to watch an ad to upgrade your gameplay. The ai’s are poorly programmed and will not target other players, only you. As a result they will hunt you down taking the towers you just took 2 seconds ago and keep an advantage over you until you die. So you might think to upgrade your troops you spawn with or the tower spawn time. Nope, that upgrades them too. So what’s the point? There isn’t one. Mobile game companies are greedy.

What happened to this game?!
I thought this game was a lot of fun...until last week. Then the entire game changed. There is no way to compete, let alone win. All the other players start out with over a hundred units and they reproduce like mad. The AI are super aggressive. All of the units get stuck on buildings, so half your units are left behind when you walk by a house. Combine that with the rapid retention of production for enemy units and you end up losing all of your bases to enemy units that were just produced by get stuck on your base while they are trying to get to their mob. This game is beyond ridiculous now.

I deleted after playing for about an hour total. My main synopsis is that the game is fun for about 30 seconds until you realize it’s another clickbait game designed to put you at a disadvantage as to coerce you into watching as many ads as possible. The game doesn’t scale in difficulty through the levels, rather the AI will upgrade alongside you so you never have an edge. Here’s what I noticed:
A. You earn coins every game and you can spend those coins on 2 upgrades. The first is an upgrade to your towers spawn time, and the second is an upgrade to your starting “crowd”
B. You face off against an AI that will upgrade as you upgrade. MEANING that no matter how many ads you watch (coin bonuses), and no matter how many upgrades you buy, the AI will always have a leg up.
C. Levels don’t correlate with difficulty. As I mentioned the AI will just upgrade with you.
D. The AI opponents will target you and only you. This becomes frustrating since the AI will always spawn crowd members faster and will hunt you down, leaving you 0 chance of winning.
E. The best strat is to avoid every AI and hide around the map while picking off abandoned towers.
There’s no depth in the game. And for that reason, I’m out. Cheers

Occasional minor bugs but fun filler game!
I don’t get the 2 star average. As others have stated, there may be an occasional bug such as the ghost single troop from another squad you can never defeat. That’s happened to me once and my towers are up to level 60+ and I’ve played a lot of games. Aka, not a huge deal.
I’ve had great performance on an iPhone 8. Occasionally, the AI seems to fixate on you but it takes strategy to escape. For example, I try to run towards another large color and get them to run into each other.
End of the day, it’s FREE and there are NO ads. It’s a fun, addictive filler type game. Not my go to favorite but those tend to be meatier. This does a great job with what it’s trying to do.
