A Few Updates Would Make It Competitive
I’m really glad to see our local theater getting an app, and my family loves this theater. That said, there are a couple of improvements that would make it more functional and modern:
1. Add functionality to change a date or seats later. Things come up after purchasing tickets, and it would be helpful for advance ticket buyers to change the dates or times to accommodate, even if that function is locked out say 24 hours prior. I don’t see how this puts the theater at risk, but maybe there’s something I’m missing about the process.
2. Add Apple Pay. This makes the point of sale more secure and speeds up the purchase process.
3. Add the ability to add purchased tickets to Apple Wallet. This keeps upcoming tickets more organized for users, and quicker to access. I’m not sure what kind of integration with Apple this takes, but it’s become a standard feature for various venues.
