What's New in Cruise FM
1.3.1
August 19, 2026
Your own photo behind your own station, and a light theme for driving in the sun. Make a station, give it a picture from your camera roll and frame it how you like — it sits behind every visual mode. And the whole app now has a light look for bright days; the drives themselves stay dark. Also in this update: • The dial is alive — stations come on air at different times of day, and the app tells you what's on next • Every session leaves a ticket behind: where you listened, for how long, and what played • Tell the app whether you're driving or just listening, and it counts things properly and calls them by the right name • Spotify and Apple Music playlists are saved separately for each station, so trying the other service no longer loses your choices • Shuffle and repeat work properly, skip and pause respond faster, and the progress bar no longer runs ahead of music that has stopped • Long song titles now scroll everywhere, including sideways • A new Y2K share card, alongside Snapshot and Ticket • Eight more station colours, bigger controls in landscape, and a good number of small fixes
