You can cancel anytime through Apple subscriptions, and no charges are made if the trial is cancelled before it ends. We appreciate the feedback and are continuing to improve the app experience.
Don’t bother
No refund. So now I’m stuck with an expensive app I won’t even use
Malfunctioning

Hey KG, It looks like your phone is outdated and not supported by our app unfortunately... As we spoke by email I tried to fix the issue but not possible as it is not in our capacity. Best, Nicholas

Super appliiiiii
Perfect for 'cooks' like me
Been this way for 50 years or more of my life . Always have random leftover ingredients from hopeful attempts to create a meal from a recipe.
Thanks to AppAdvice, I found this app that is finally the real help I need to prep food myself. I'll never love food prep, some of us arent built that way, but this app doesn't get complicated with that.
Simple. This is what I have , I chose a few main ingredients (or a lot) from my inventory, and it gives me a recipe.. or more than one. Not gourmet, but satisfying.
No more staring blankly into the cupboard or the refrigerator for hours wondering how can I successfully get these random ingredients onto my plate? (and actually enjoy the flavor?)
With CRUMB, I'm making better use of the food already in my house because things are not languishing in the cupboard or the refrigerator until it expires.
No app will be perfect for everyone, but it's just right for me and worth the try when you hate trying to figure out what to make for the nourishment you need.

Hey Helihopehul, Thank you very much for your kind message! This is the type of message that keeps me going and makes me want to build an ever better product for you guys. I would love to have to opportunity to speak with you and see how we can make it even more useful! (You can contact me by email or what’s app) Thanks again, Nicholas
generative AI garbage. don't download
there's no option to save your ingredients, so each time you want to cook something you have to manually re-enter all of your ingredients, and it all but forces you to do it via microphone. you have to trick the app to allow you to type in ingredients, which feels especially shady when talking about such an obnoxiously AI driven app. i can only speculate that it uses the audio input of all their users for tts machine learning without their consent, although of course i can't claim that for certain.
it generates one recipe at a time, and won't let you regenerate a new one on the free version. constantly pushes its paid subscription version, which is such a joke considering its use of unpaid AI content.

Hi Peridot420, Thank you for sharing your thoughts about Crumb. I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectations. Crumb is AI-driven to provide more personalization and freedom when exploring new recipes. While the option to save your ingredients and avoid re-entering them each time is available, this feature is part of the paid plan. Regarding the voice feature, I want to reassure you that we don’t track or store what you say, except for the ingredients you dictate. If you have any additional questions or suggestions on how we could improve Crumb, I’d love to hear them. Feel free to reach out, or we can arrange a call to discuss further. Here’s my WhatsApp number: +32 486 04 34 19. Thank you again for your feedback! Best, Nicholas
Over all ok but…
There should also have the ability to add a note to the recipe for the next time it is needed.
I have also noticed on many occasions, that after speaking out the ingredients it shows none of of them. It simply just shows the manual ‘add ingredients’ button, so essentially it’s failing to do even its basic job.
Lastly, why doesn’t the refine your recipe bit, have the option to make the recipe more saucy? It’s very limited.
It’s a very rigid app and not flexible, this app needs to be more user-friendly.

Hello Fanc4Yahsua, Thanks for leaving a review. What exactly do you mean by iPhone only? The app is also available on the Google Play store. If you need help feel free to send me a message on what’s app :) Thanks, Nicholas

Hey Nav, Happy you like Crumb! Nicholas
Not for me.

Hey Jean, Thanks for letting me know your issue. I believe you were in the pantry where you can't create recipes. If you want to create a recipe you have to go on the home page and click on the microphone button bottom right. This will allow you to dictate your ingredients and create a recipe :) Feel free to send me a message on what's app if you have any more questions. Thanks, Nicholas
