Crumple: Job Accountability

Apply locks Instagram, TikTok, and the other apps that steal your day until today's job applications are done. Jobs first. Then scroll. You already know the loop. You open social media, lose an hour, and tell yourself you'll apply tonight. Crumple breaks it. Pick the apps. Set a daily goal. They stay blocked until you submit real applications and prove it. How it works 1. Choose what to block. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, games, whatever pulls you off the job search. Apply keeps them locked with iPhone Screen Time until today's goal is finished. Lock them all day, or only during the hours you set. 2. Apply, then scan. Point your camera at the confirmation page. Apply checks that it is a real submission and reads the company and role. You confirm. The photo is read once and thrown away. It is not stored. 3. Hit the goal. Unlock. Your apps open for the rest of the day. Miss the goal, and they stay locked. 4. Add an accountability partner, if you want one. Share a code with a friend. They see how often you apply, never the company or the role, and you can nudge each other. Apply works on your own, too. What you get - A daily application goal on the days you're job searching - Verified applications, not an honor system - A record of every company and role you applied to - A streak that moves when you apply - An optional buddy, who sees that you showed up, not where you applied - A plan built around how fast you want to be hired For anyone tired of scrolling instead of applying. A new grad, a career switch, a layoff, or the role you keep putting off. Need a day off? You get one free skip a month. It lifts the lock and keeps your streak. It does not count as applying. Extra skips can be bought, and Apply gives part of what it earns from those to charity. Requires an iPhone on iOS 16.4 or later, plus Screen Time permission.
