Great game
Just finished beating this game and in my opinion it was great reminds me of playing sudoku love the numbers games. Controls take some getting used to tbut no real issues.

Needs more
Loved the game, just too short
I played this on the Switch and I enjoyed it, but…
the fact I need to have a subscription for literally Picross is really pathetic
Edited: Login issues fixed
Wasn’t able to log in but it’s been fixed now. Great fun if you like picross/nonograms.
Can’t log into app with Crunchyroll account
App won’t go past Crunchyroll login screen even after a successful SSO login.
Only other rating here is ridiculous
Not a person complaining the game requires subscription when it is literally a crunchyroll Game Vault game. Like duh, just do a tiny bit of research instead of getting pressed.
Pay to play
Do you actually expect me to pay for a picto game?
Controls are buggy
In game controls are buggy for marking spots. Random squares will act like I input something even though I’m using the arrows on the other side of the screen. It seems like the norm for all the Crunchyroll included games. I have yet to find a game that can do its intended basic functions from them. The only reason I’m not giving it one star is because of the nice design. Just wish it worked as nice as it looked.

Please stop requiring an account to play
I’m not making another account so that I can play a game I might not even enjoy. I’ve probably got hundreds of accounts strewn across the web and don’t want to make ANOTHER ONE, just to play a game. Game developers/publishers around the world, STOP DOING THIS.
Actual Review of Game, Not a Rant
So, I don’t know what to expect from CrunchyRoll games, but I was kind of hoping it would be a little better than this.
Okay, let’s start with controls. Although at times it’s fine, the controls were the real struggle throughout 99% of the game. The inputs for phone screens are way too small. When you attempt to move up, it can accidentally move you to the side or down due to an accidental input press you did not intend.
The levels were fine.
The music was good.
Decided to not read the story by personal choice. So, I can’t give a rating on that.
However the controls don’t warrant a 2/5 star rating. What caused this was the fact the game had unintended flashing transition screens when opening the shop. I thought the recent update that came out a few days prior might had fixed it… well, it didn’t fix it but I think they tried(?). Also, the victory screen at the end is also bugged.
Anyway, all of this being said, if you want people to feel satisfied paying a higher price just to play these games, I’d at least expect the game itself to be without bugs. Without bugs, definitely a 4/5 star game. Worth a play though when fixed.

Good picross game
Love Picross, I beat the game fully. If I have one gripe is that I wish the game were longer.
Picross rpg!
Finally high quality picross! I love it, I'd just also love the option for portrait mode.
Don’t play if prone to migraines or seizures
This game has a seizure trigger when you enter the shop. How many times a second do you need to make the screen flash before you’re actively trying to hurt people? I looked for an option to turn off screen flashing in the menu and there isn’t one.
Bug
The number should fade out when the required number of square are placed but it’s not always working and become frustrating…

Fun idea poorly executed
So I love nano grams and pictogram games quite a bit. And having a little quest game you could travel and fight monsters on was a good idea, however the big issue is the controls. Unlike every other game in this style, you have to move the cursor with arrow keys instead of just tapping the blocks you want to either color in or use the x on. If you hold down the color in button and try to use the arrow keys to complete a row, good chance you’ll misclick, take a hit when you didn’t mean too. It’s super clunky for controls and can be frustrating. It’s an app on a touch screen phone, just give the option to touch the blocks you want and make it easier. Having both the cursor and arrow keys, and the ability to touch your desired blocks would go a long way to make it enjoyable
