Sounds on restart
Intro music and game sounds turn back on at every game start. Have to switch them off each time. Is there a way to shut them off permanently?

3D Methods needs a lot more credit!
This is now the third game I have played from 3D Methods. As someone who plays a lot of point and click I unfortunately run into a good amount of repetitiveness, find a key, enter a code boom you’re out. Well not these games! They’re very fresh and challenging without feeling completely impossible without a hint. Well done!
Cryptic Caverns was one of my favorites from 3D Methods. I enjoyed the creativeness along with the adventurous feel to the game. It made you feel like tomb raider. I enjoyed interacting with island locals. That is something I’m not used to in an escape game. Lastly, I really like the length of the game. It is really nice to play a point and click that doesn’t just stay in one or two rooms! What a game!!

Worth the Purchase
Game is absorbing, and the puzzles make sense. Seldom did I need to resort to trying everything in my inventory. The map helps keep the player's bearings. Hints were not good: find something to do with an inventory item. As if we didn't know that! One puzzle, however, was needlessly complex with far too many steps to solve. Fun went right out the window as I played & paused the video walkthrough to get it done. Aside from that headache, I had fun and would try other games by this developer.
