Cryptic kingdom

I love these games...I am a big fan of The Room..and this game is just as great..never crashed, good hints, maps and youtube interface..highly recommend all of the 3D Methods games...the puzzles get harder as you approach the end..very challenging..but so much fun!!!!

Kingdoms of boredom... :(

It was worth $.99 but I wouldn't pay more for it. Here are my words of wisdom for all point & click game developers:

#1: We're all done with having to find a key to get into the ________ (house, kingdom, insert whatever here) on the 1st screen. It's old.

#2. This game had 4 keys in the first 4 minutes of play. I was tired of keys before the game started, now I'm ALL DONE with keys.

#3. Ok, I enjoy puzzles as much as the next girl. However, the reward for solving a puzzle = something amazing, mysterious & visually stunning happens.... OOOORRRR... something disastrous & confusing happens and now we have to fix it. A short list of things that solving puzzles should not lead to:

a) another puzzle... or a new scene with 2-3 more puzzles
b) a frigging key
c) nothing particularly interesting

#4. Hidden objects should be... well, hidden. Not obvious, not laying in the grass and certainly not tossed haphazardly next to a tree or glowing mystic fountain beneath a crystal.

#5. Don't give me tons of text to read please. Give me characters and interesting dialogue. If I wanted to read, I would have bought an e-book. I want to play a game with a fascinating and UNPREDICTABLE plot.

These guys had decent graphics and all, but I was so incredibly bored I couldn't play this game for more than 5 minutes. If you've never EVER played an adventure walkthrough, you'll probably enjoy it. If you've played phenomenal classic games like Myst/Riven or stunningly creative new games like Machinarium you will be disappointed in this game. Save your $.99 and buy a pack of gum.

Loved it

Great game. Really makes you think and pay attention to detail. Give me more.

Very good puzzle adventure

A very good puzzle adventure. Puzzle difficulty increases as the game progresses - some are definitely challenging. Smooth gameplay and no glitches or bugs encountered. I liked the relaxing music and found it to be a positive addition to the game. Neat concept, good execution and great price.
