I’d buy that for a dollar!
This game was quite short and easy, but it was absolutely worth 99 cents. I thought it was well made: the graphics were good, the music was actually kinda enjoyable and not monotonous (didn’t play long enough for that 😁), the 3D environment was smooth and easily navigable, the story was shallow but darkly “cute” with a little twist at the end, and many puzzles required investigating additional rooms to solve previous ones. Was it challenging? Except for a couple of momentary head-scratchers, not really, but after some of the brain-kickers I’ve played recently, I giggled with delight through much of the game due partly to its stark simplicity and partly to some of the amusingly nonsensical solutions. I have another escaper from this dev that’s supposed to be more difficult, so if it’s as well made as this one, I’m really looking forward to it.

Great fun for the price!
The game is only 99 cents with no in-app purchases. I really don't understand the gripes some people have with the game being too easy - it was only 99 cents!
Beautiful graphics, excellent mood-fitting music, and solvable puzzles that aren't TOO challenging... I really enjoyed this! Yes, it was short - but it was only a buck! I definitely got my money's worth and will try more of their games.

Not challenging, way too easy. If creators wanna charge money for a game they should create a lite version as well so we can decide if we think it's worth our money.
Fun being in the game's world.
Nothing better than creeping around through underground rooms and crypts solving puzzles! I bought this game because older games by this developer had some criticisms, and I got the impression the developer (no idea who it is, never met him) was listening, learning, and improving with each new game. That impression was correct. The major gripes about earlier games have been addressed in Cryptic Labryinth. It's a solid puzzle adventure, certainly worth a buck, and I look forward to seeing what the developer will be doing in future.

Flawless gaming perfection!!
I've played a lot of point-and-click escape adventure games...a LOT, and this one positively is in my TOP 10 B E S T....ever!
Everything about this game was fantastic: the PUZZLES are incredibly ORIGINAL, the NAVIGATION is simple to understand operate, the graphics are brilliant (not cheesy like SSOOOO many other games out there), the soundtrack is catchy yet doesn't distract your thinking processes when trying to solve puzzles....and last but not least, the story line and random notes found along the journey are actually INTERESTING. (And I've never said THAT about any other game!)
OH! And I forgot the most important thing that is fantastic about this game: the HINTS given to me (I think I used about 6 or 7) were all dead-on RELEVANT and HELPFUL!!! Whenever I got stuck, the hint I fetched always got me out of my bind without flat-out giving me the solution to the predicament I was in at the time.
I don't recall how much I paid for this game... ($.99- $1.99?) ...but in retrospect, I would say this game was worth $3.99 in the App Store. (And I am as poor as a church mouse!) If you have doubts about getting this game, DON'T!
You'll be denying yourself hours of fun if you pass this dynamite game up! I wish I was playing it for the first time again. (Whatta rush!) I see that there are other games by this developer. I hope they are all as good as this one.....I am about to download as many as I can afford!

You'll be ON to something if you hang on to this fantastic formula. It's the stuff that all other developers are trying to accomplish.....but always seem to fall short of doing, in the end.

...but too simplistic.
Surprisingly Impressive Short Game
This is a really fun point-and-click game with really nice, medieval settings. The story line and music are also really interesting. If you're looking for a short-ish little puzzle adventure, definitely give it a try. It took me a few days to beat while playing for 30 minutes here and there. Overall, this is a cool game and I have absolutely no complaints.

I liked the game but the way it moves gives me motion sickness. I have to look away when moving around.
Good game, but...
It is very easy and relatively short in comparison to previous games. Still enjoyed it and would recommend, but felt the need to let other fans of the Cryptic series know to what to expect.

I really liked this game it wasn't so hard that I had constantly get hints but not so easy that I got bored. I hope there will be more of these. Oh and I liked the story line and the twist at the end. Thank you

Fantastic Wonderful
3D Methods has found it place in the point and click adventure game market. Their games are wonderful entertaining and challenge the mind while entertaining. Easy control movements and amusing story lines. 3D can't put them out fast enough for me. Want more please. Graphics, sound and puzzles not too hard but hard enough that you really enjoy the experience. It takes you away for a few hours after a rough day. Love 3D.

Very happy to see a new game in the Cryptic series from Jacob Medina and 3D Methods! Simple interface, makes you think but is not difficult or frustrating. Very nice point and click adventure, love the medieval theme! Length is short but comparable to price, and I do appreciate that, yet would pay more for a longer game.
No glitches, clear graphics, clever puzzles, casual gameplay. A bit of constructive criticism here...the one and only issue I had was a bit of dizzying due to the camera movement in this one, very fast zooming in and away from the different areas. Really hope to see more games from this dev (minus the camera motion)!
