Love It!
I love this app but it needs to be updated. I wish TwoFishAESSerpent was an option. Also with the other algorithm WHIRLPOOL. Then depreciate TrueCrypt since that has back doors in it. It would also be cool if you could save encrypted containers to the Files app and cloud storages. Especially since I have home clouds hosted with SMB.

Great app (When it works)
I would give it 5 stars if it didn’t work most of the time…. Most times I am unable to upload files from my pc to my iPhone X (where the app is installed)… Usually when I try a few times, or the following day, it works.. This can be frustrating… They do not respond to my emails… So, I’m just stuck…. Hopefully they will correct the problem in the near future..

Completely insecure!!!
This app decrypt my secret video to tmp folder for view and forget delete it after.
Native video player is not horrible
Would be a big improvement if the media player rendered correctly. The quality and resolution removes at least one star from the rating.

It’s great, but the limitations are there.
This app is great when it comes to opening encrypted containers on iOS. Unfortunately though, it has two big flaws: No support for key files, and it can’t open a container formatted in anything other than FAT. I was hoping I was going to be able to open containers I created long ago formatted as MacOS Extended and with keyfiles, but sadly it wasn’t possible.
I understand implementing Veracrypt on mobile is hard enough as it is, but I’ll hold my breath it will overcome these limitations.
It’s still very useful if you need to carry around sensitive documents and want additional protection on top of what iOS provides by default.

Automatic synchronization with dropbox
I really hope the app can access the encrypted volume stored in remote Dropbox cloud or local Dropbox folder, instead of importing from there and creating a new copy in its own folder. The idea is that any file changes in the encrypted volume can be automatically synchronized to Dropbox cloud. Is it something possible? Thanks!

Exactly What I was Looking For
I was searching for an encryption app that can be used completely offline. While cloud services ‘might’ be secure I wouldn’t trust them with my private files (i.e. passports, contracts, medical files, SSN’s, marriage/birth/death certs, credit reports, work files, resumes, tax returns, etc.). Crypto Disks uses VeraCrypt (or TrueCrypt) containers. I’ve been using the desktop version of VeraCrypt for many years (free open source encryption software so you know there are no backdoors). Crypto Disks is a perfect solution. You can add/delete containers via private home Wi-Fi (but you can also edit the containers in the Crypto Disks app is you prefer). I update my containers using VeraCrypt them simply replace them in the Crypto Disk app on my iphone. Now I have all my encrypted files at my fingertips 24/7! What more could I ask for 😬

Not intuitive
You can’t move a file into a folder. Copying the file, pasting it in the folder and deleting the old copy seems to be the only way. And it doesn’t open heif images. Sad :(

Crashes on iPhone X 11.2.1
Crashes when trying to export a photo. Does not show up under the “photos” privacy settings, so I can’t give it permission by myself. Seems that it crashes when it is going to ask for permission to access photos.
The iOS 11.2 issue is not fixed!
I was holding off on getting this because people were posting about the issue opening encrypted volumes in iOS 11.2.
Then the author posted version 2.5.4 with a note about having fixed the issue. Nope, still can’t open files on my iPad Pro. Guess I just donated 99 cents to someone's beer fund. Live and learn.

Could you please explain more (by emails etc.) on how opening encrypted volumes doesn't work on iOS 11.2? Did you choose the right volume types in the opening dialog, e.g., forget to check VeraCrypt type as well? BTW, the previous issue on iOS 11.2 is not related to opening volumes, but is about that the whole App fails to start due to an API behavior change on iOS 11.2.
No Options for Cloud Provider
False advertisement, wasted my money on this worthless app.

Now user needs to install corresponding cloud provider app like dropbox, onedrive first before importing files from cloud provider. Please check the Help document in the app for details.

Doesn't work after update to ios 11.2
Has been a great app. But right now after ios update I am locked out of my files. All i get is a white screen. Will rate it 5 stars though from past experience with it. I'm sure the developer is working on a fix

Insecure
There is a reset option on the opening page of the app that erases the passcode and files stored in the app. Anyone who opens the app can use it. You do need the passcode to access the files in the app but a reset option that is not passcode protected renders the app useless.

The reset operation is never worse than uninstalling the App. Anyone could unlock the phone may uninstall the app to remove all the data; uninstalling any App is controlled by iOS system and can never be prevented from by a passcode of the App. The reset operation now could be considered as a shortcut of uninstalling and then reinstall the App. It was introduced in to solve a problem of the system before iOS 9, where keychain items are kept even corresponding Apps are uninstalled, which made people who forgot their passcode unable to use the App anymore (even they uninstall and reinstall the App).
Best privacy app of all time
This app supports truecrypt and veracrypt volumes. Not only that it also supports Touch ID. The best part is it’s super secure and never leaves any files in temp folder. I hope the developer will add Face ID support. Well done keep it up.

So Far So Good
I've been using 128 AES encrypted PDF format for a sensitive file I carry on my iPad. After losing and finding my iPad, I decided to see how much more complicated it would be to increase this security by going with 256 AES. I'm not really sure if Adobe Reader Encryption, encrypts the entire file or just the password. Anyway, I installed this today, and it works great so far. But what do I know, I'm not a hacker. ;)
Spend the $.99, install the program, and create an encrypted volume.
I chose the Veracrypt method. The trick is to figure out the best way to import your file to your iPad. Usually in iTunes you can open your iPad and associate files are place directly with the programs that control them, like .pdfs might go to Adobe Reader.
This situation is different. here you are importing your file into an encrypted volume that is currently open. There are several ways listed to import. Since I have Drop Box on my iPad, the easiset way was to drop the file into Drop Box from my Mac, and then in Crypto Disk on my iPad, I selected the Drop Box method. Itl connected to my Drop Box account and allowed me to choose the file to import. That's it. I even imported a password protected pdf (I used the Mac Preview program for this). After the encrypted volume was opened (with a password), the document's individual password still worked and was needed before I open my senstive file. Double protection or over kill? You decide. :p
