Please don't force us to use the new version
I don't want to upgrade to Cryptomater 2, it forces me to download my files to unencrypted folders. I don't want my stuff visible to Apple, I want it to stay encrypted. Otherwise it will just defeat the purpose. I will even pay for full encryption a second time as long as I don't have to expose my documents to Apple.

Fix search please
Have patiently waiting for 4 years for you guys to fix/update the search functionality but nothing.
I have my files within folders and search only finds documents within the folder that you are in. Makes it so hard to use it on the iPhone/iPad. You have to know what folder/sub folder are your files to find them. Not the same experience from a computer.
Time to move on to bitwarden I think.

Broken. Do not endanger your files!!!
I have no idea how this crap is supposed to be an improvement over regular Cryptomator, which never gave me issues.
While I am able to create new folders just fine with 2.0, it actually *crashes* when I attempt to view the folder and asks for the password again. Is there some kind of size limit before it crashes? Could you pretty please tell us what this invisible rule is so that we might have the privilege of accessing the files we paid you to encrypt?
I also am completely unable to ADD any new pictures to folders. As in, it does not work, period. I have tried it in every way — grabbing dozens or just one picture at a time — and they do not appear in the folder. Even when viewing the same folder on my laptop, it is completely empty. Strangely, I have successfully transferred some .PDF paperwork files, but not a single iOS native photo or video.
What this app essentially does is nominally allow more seamless integration of Cryptomator folders into iOS Files, but this doesn’t matter because you will not be able to access large folders nor transfer photos.
Don’t waste your time, sanity, or potentially whatever files you entrust to this garbage app. And for the love of god, do NOT pay them money for it!

Essential
This application is essential to anyone looking for complete control of their privacy when backing up to a cloud service. The files integration is excellent. The only two downsides are no thumbnail previews unless you download a file which takes up local storage. The cache has to be cleared manually (should probably include an expiration system).

Very straightforward
Clean user interface and quick synchronization across my devices. I would still like to see an option to compress folders into zip files and share them via email, rather than having to share all files individually
