I'm loving this music player. It's a breathe of fresh air after years of dealing with Apple's abomination of a music app. Would love the ability to add playlists within artists categories though. IE) ability to create a playlist of all White Stripes tunes under the White Stripes' umbrella under Artists instead of in the Playlist category. 🤷♂️

I love it… but one minor qualm.
I love this app. It’s a clean UI interface, and everything you need is just right there. The only thing I think is important is better Apple Music integration. It should also have search have the option for Apple Music search and allow you to, if you have an Apple Music subscription, listen to/download music from there.

Bring back audiobook playlists!?
I have audiobook chapter playlists built thru iTunes, yes iTunes, not the music app. I have an older version of this app (5.0.11) that shows those playlists. It’s amazing. Anyway to bring that function back?
What happened
Worked great for years. Maybe I need to give for another coffee or pizza. I would if I knew it would bring back playability 😕
Please don’t update to Liquid Glass!
This app does an awesome job at replicating the classic music experience on iOS, which is a minimal and declutterred way to access your personal music library. It also looks very clean and bespoke, and I don’t want to see it ruined by the new SDK that forces glass elements🤞

It was really useful especially for the star rating.
App became useless for me since there isn’t the possibility to rate the music via the widget.
Song playing is not the song displayed. That’s a bit annoying.

自分はリッピングしたCDをリリース順にアルバム単位で聴きたいオールドタイプな人間なので、アルバムを年やリリース日でソートできるのがめちゃめちゃありがたい。
再生が終わった後、再生中の表示が先頭の曲に戻らず途中の曲のまま更新されない時がよくありますが、きっと直してくれると信じてます！

Frustrating app
I love this app! The layout is simple and great. But it's also super frustrating because NEARLY every time I open it, it hangs there in a frozen state and I have to close it, reopen, close, reopen, 2-3 times before it is actually usable. Developer, please! Work out this bug. It makes a good app incredibly frustrating to use!

Cs Music really doesn’t like iOS 26…freezes, shuts down and no longer usable. Real shame because I liked this player.

The way I want my music
No flotsam or jetsam, just as I want my music. Unfortunately I can’t get back the music I burned from hundreds of MY CDs and then lost, thanks to Apple 😡
Option to remove artwork in Genres.
Long-time user here. I really enjoy the extra customization we get with this app as opposed to Apple’s locked up music app. The one thing I prefer about Apple’s app is that the genres don’t have any artwork next to them. It’s just plain, neutral text.
It makes sense to have artwork for the Artist and Album tabs but I don’t want to see one artist plastered over a genre all the time. The genre tab has so many view options but none to hide the artwork.

Everything Apple Music should be.
Been using this app for years. This is how I prefer to be able to see my music I have on my device; I’m not interested in Apple’s streaming service and sorting is front and center, not buried in menus. Happy to see it is still being actively updated too.

Almost perfect
Why did we lose the alphabet down the right hand side of the artist view? That was so handy. Now I have to scroll forward to get to the Y’s and Z’s. Otherwise I love this app. Far superior to Apple Music.

Have been using this for years and it remains timeless. I do wonder where the app icon customization disappeared off to though?

Edit: Is the startup issue ever going to be fixed?
This has been my go-to for many years, but I haven’t been using it much recently because it takes 3-4 tries to launch it. Tried it again and it STILL has the same issue. This has been going on since iOS 18 came out.
