⭐️ Love this Apple Music player!
I absolutely love this app! It connects seamlessly with my Apple Music library and gives me a completely different way to enjoy my music. The interface is beautiful, simple, and easy to use, and I love the way the Now Playing screen looks with the album artwork. Everything feels smooth and well designed. If you use Apple Music and want a fresh music player experience, I definitely recommend giving this app a try! ❤️

Previous Versions Were Better
The app was great until about the last couple of years, I wish it could go back to the 2023-24 which was version was perfect for my needs as a music listener.
Recent versions have lost some of the previous sorting features and customization while simultaneously mimicking many unfavourable design choices from Apple Music which was the whole point of getting this app as an alternative.
I’ve read some feedback from the developer something along the lines that the goal of the app was to “keep pace with Apple Music while giving an offline option” but in my opinion having the focus being on a classic looking music player is more what attracted us to the app. It doesn’t matter if it looks matter if it looks more square/rectangular or “outdated” that’s was always the appeal!
The Liquid Glass and rounded edges on everything is especially disappointing. At best it would be good to give some optionally to turn on or off these features.
CS was my favourite music player app for many years and I wish it would go back to that winning formula of a classic music player instead of uncritically emulating everything (whether it is good or not) coming from Apple Music.

Great app if you like star ratings. CarPlay would be a huge addition. Perfect other than that

I genuinely appreciate the slow, steady pace of this app. Updates don’t come every other day like so many vibed-out apps these days, and that feels intentional, in a good way. The developer takes their time, the app stays stable, and it just does a darned good job at the one thing I want it to do: play my music.
No constant churn, no needless reinvention, just a solid music player that works. I’ll take thoughtful, deliberate development over an endless stream of updates any day.

Unnecessary flare replaces simple functionality
BUG UPDATE - saved podcast episodes started landing in my music playlists. I don't have any podcast shows or episodes in my music library. I use the podcast app for those.

This seems to be a "more flare, less function" release. Please return the metadata sheet to its previous functionality. I used to one-tap on the song title many times a day to see its metadata. Now there's a pointless additional menu that adds no additional functionality, only yet another tap to get at the metadata with no additional benefit that I can see. There's also no way that I can find to list and play all songs by an artist in order, which was a brilliantly simple feature in the last iteration that I used at least once or twice a week. Now the songs are listed alphabetically by album. Who listens to an album alphabetically?!? Put back the “Show All Songs” button in the artist list to show all the Artist's songs chronologically. Finally, bring the album title back to the player controls, especially since you now require an additional tap to identify it. There's plenty of room for it in the big blob of white space below the player controls.

Thank you for this app
I have a lot of music on my iPhone that I have ripped from CDs over the years. These are CDs I purchased from independent artists. These artists are not on iTunes. I can now listen to all my music now, not just what I have purchased from iTunes. I am so happy!
Besser kann es nicht mal Apple….
Jahrelang habe ich mit meinem iPod Touch 32 GB meine Musik überall problemlos anschließen und hören können. Letztlich hat ein schwächelnder Akku und die mangelnde Unterstützung heutiger Fahrzeuge dazu geführt, dass er zu Elektroschrott wurde.
Dann kam die erlösende Anschaffung eines iPhone (SE) und der Kauf von CS Music.
Der Look & Feel der alten iPod Bedienoberfläche und die unkomplizierte Bedienung von CS Music machen die beiden zum fast unschlagbaren Team.

Love it!
I'm loving this music player. It's a breathe of fresh air after years of dealing with Apple's abomination of a music app. Would love the ability to add playlists within artists categories though. IE) ability to create a playlist of all White Stripes tunes under the White Stripes' umbrella under Artists instead of in the Playlist category. 🤷♂️

I love it… but one minor qualm.
I love this app. It’s a clean UI interface, and everything you need is just right there. The only thing I think is important is better Apple Music integration. It should also have search have the option for Apple Music search and allow you to, if you have an Apple Music subscription, listen to/download music from there.

Bring back audiobook playlists!?
I have audiobook chapter playlists built thru iTunes, yes iTunes, not the music app. I have an older version of this app (5.0.11) that shows those playlists. It’s amazing. Anyway to bring that function back?

This app does an awesome job at replicating the classic music experience on iOS, which is a minimal and declutterred way to access your personal music library. It also looks very clean and bespoke, and I don’t want to see it ruined by the new SDK that forces glass elements🤞

自分はリッピングしたCDをリリース順にアルバム単位で聴きたいオールドタイプな人間なので、アルバムを年やリリース日でソートできるのがめちゃめちゃありがたい。
再生が終わった後、再生中の表示が先頭の曲に戻らず途中の曲のまま更新されない時がよくありますが、きっと直してくれると信じてます！

Frustrating app
I love this app! The layout is simple and great. But it's also super frustrating because NEARLY every time I open it, it hangs there in a frozen state and I have to close it, reopen, close, reopen, 2-3 times before it is actually usable. Developer, please! Work out this bug. It makes a good app incredibly frustrating to use!
