Ive played this since I was like 9... Its still one of my favorite mobile games. Shame its being forgotten
Still a great game
I’m replaying this game again. Runs well on iPhone 17! Still love collecting the classics and doing them up. Treasure them more than the modern cars in CSR2. Lost all my cars previously when old iPad died.. Now I find I’m enjoying getting them all again ten years later! Shame they don’t have a server anymore. They no longer save your garage centrally and the multiplayer is closed. It’s so much slower to grind and get gold coins now! That’s my only gripe.

Love the game, but….
For some reason, regardless of where I’m at, the game refuses to load all of a sudden
My favorite mobile game ever, now it’s abandoned and broken
Logged on today after a little while had 0 money and 0 gold, did some races and it stayed the same… broke my heart seeing that. I’ve played for probably as long as the games been out now I will truly have to give it up, I have 34 achievements, I believe I was only 3 away from 100%
Resolution fix
The game is awesome, but it needs proper fixes with newer devices, especially the black bars on the sides.

Played so much in 2014-15 as a kid. Takes me back. Never got to finish it so I’m going to now

The game is so good so many cars and so realistic but I have an idea firstly why don’t you update the game so every one can change camera because the only camera is directly facing the side of the car.My final suggestion is free drive because the only drive mode is drag racing and if you fix this it will be a more popolar game awlsow the pictures look identical to the game

I paid for some gold and I had it for a long time. I didn’t play the game for some months, but when I came back to it, all of my gold was gone. Every time I was supposed to receive more gold, it never showed up. There’s a problem with this game and they won’t fix it.
Everything is worse than awful
I hate this game so much the tutorial is like a hour long, races when you start are as hard as the ones when you are at a higher tier with a better car, and more cash. I hate everything about this game awful graphics so bad that if I could I would give it a 0 star rating. Never never never get this game it sucks so glitchy even on my brand new up-to-date Apple IPhone 16 pro!

4-Star Review: CSR Classics – Nostalgic Drag Racing Fun That Still Delivers!
As old as this game is, I really enjoy it. it’s a charming throwback from NaturalMotion that captures classic muscle car culture perfectly. Restoring barn-find cars and racing them in tense drags is incredibly satisfying, with a solid campaign and that satisfying “build and upgrade” loop. The game feels earnest and focused compared to flashier modern titles, making it great for relaxed sessions. Easy to pick up and sink time into even years later.
That said, it’s missing some modern polish that holds it back from true greatness. Engine sounds often feel repetitive with looped samples instead of unique, authentic notes for each car. Visual effects can also feel dated and static, lacking extra depth and immersion during races.
I’d love to see NaturalMotion collaborate with Unreal Engine 5 for a refreshed version. A UE5 overhaul could bring dynamic lighting, enhanced particles, and much more realistic visuals overall. My biggest wishes:
• Authentic engine sounds for every car — unique, procedural audio that reacts to RPM, throttle, and load instead of repetitive loops. Spatial audio would make drags feel alive and immersive.
• More cinematic intros and outros for races — dramatic starting sequences, epic slow-mo finishes, varied camera angles, and better effects to highlight the restored classics beautifully.
These changes, plus improved realism in sound and visuals, would modernize CSR Classics while keeping its soul intact. Storage might increase a bit, but the upgrade would be worth it on today’s phones.
Verdict: A highly enjoyable classic drag racer that’s nostalgic and addictive. With a Unreal Engine 5 collab and those key improvements, it could easily hit 5 stars. Strongly recommended for fans of old-school muscle cars and simple racing fun, with big potential for even more greatness.

Horrible
Don’t waste your time and download. this is a p2p or you wait forever to get enough money to upgrade after the first boss. Not worth it especially when the daily races are a way to get free money and in game they are a 2 of 4 difficulty but it might as well be 4 of 4 difficulty cause you’re losing 2/3 every day for due to the poor way the game lets you drive different cars for it. You can’t ever time any of them perfectly. CSR should just get rid of this game because it puts a mark on what’s a good game in every other variation but this one

Great game as always but would like some more or if any cash and gold bundles added like before as I’m struggling with my Ford GT40MK2 build to finish the Career story mode.
Classic cars
The classic cars in this game are very cool and the graphics are even better than the original Csr Racing game and also the nitro needs to be upgraded because it doesn’t show when you use it

I absolutely love this game it has a very good learning curve and great mechanics and the cars are very responsive and realistic I have had great time playing this game and enjoy it very much congratulations to the game developers for doing a fantastic job
Still fun but missing the best parts
I started playing this game again because I remembered when I used to play it like a decade ago and sorta use it as a stress reliever collecting cars and learning their shift patterns, the style of the game is fantastic and the car choice is top notch for muscle cars, make no mistake though, they dropped support for this game and removed the multiplayer which was one of the better ones for a CSR game. no ads is pretty nice, though it still gives you the “deals” on gold cars hardcoded to be out of your current reach. Overall can still be pretty fun, but it’s still a shadow of its former self.
