not compatible with all devices

this app has many helpful references but I can’t clearly see tabs on my IPad. The academics/ enrollment page is glitchy in a way where it’s half the screen and I physically can not access these tools on this device. It’s unfortunate I can’t handle tasks such as viewing scholarships or paying tuition on my iPad because the software isn’t formulated for this.

Parking spaces and new look

This updated version looks so much better and honestly makes it easier to find things and get my stuff done more efficiently. Plus it shows me the available parking spaces on campus which is great cause when I’m running late I can see if I don’t have to drive in circles in parking buildings

Not lying

Its a good app homie .

Loving the New Features

I really like the new CSUN apps redesign. It is very useful when helping me see my class schedule and exam schedule which makes it easier for me to adjust to my new schedules at the beginning and end of each semester. It has also made it much easier to order official transcripts. I also really like the feature where we can see how many parking spots are available which makes parking in the mornings much easier, especially during busy weeks.

Many new features. Wishing it had FaceId to log in.

This app is filled with many, many features and and helpful resources. It’ll take some time getting used to the new design and layout to find things, but the search functionality is helpful in that regard. Many of the portal links are on here and it’s helpful to be able to quickly access some of my personal information like grades or financial aid awards. I do wish the sign in was a bit more reliable and kept me signed in for a longer period of time. Using FaceId would also be helpful.

Overall good redesign

I mainly use the CSUN app to navigate around the campus. The map is easily accessible and very useful. I also use the app to view my class schedule conveniently. The only issue I have with the app is that it is not mobile friendly when it comes to purchasing a parking permit. Otherwise, the app redesign has been useful so far.

New update made it so good

The redesign looks way better, it’s been really helpful, really easy to navigate, has a really nice search feature and has basically any resource I would need. Helped me out a lot.

Super Helpful 3D Map

After the revamp of the CSUN Mobile App it has been so much easier to navigate. I use the 3D Map function on a daily to help navigate around campus. The dining hour feature is also helpful to know what’s open when i’m hungry!

Helpful Resources

I’m really happy with the new version of the app.
Resources like the dining, parking, campus job applications, and self service menus are extremely helpful!!

Great Productivity Tool

The app is a great tool that I use frequently to navigate around CSUN and access many of the services at CSUN

Future Student Persona

The new Future Student option is a great resource. It’s a collection of the most asked about aspects of CSUN life - all in an easy to navigate app. A great addition for future Matadors and their parents/supporters! 🌹

Shouldn’t be this hard to use

Its very unfortunate that such a useful utility especially for new students has some of the worst functionality I’ve seen.
The app constantly denies me access to services I have and use on the webpage. For example logging in 3 times to check my class schedule only to see that I don’t have access for some reason.
The app’s load times are also incredibly slow, using a browser is 10x better than having to use the app, which begs the question “how optimized is this app?” Why is the official webpage way more stable than an app that should behave the same? Do they not care for this app, otherwise the webpage would behave the same, slow and unstable.

It says I am not authorized access to my class schedule

Please tell me how I can access my class schedule from this app

Inconvenient

I just logged in to the app, looked at one thing for a few seconds, and then tried to open another page. It asked me to log in again even though I didn’t log out.

Doesn’t work

Once you log in, you can get to the main landing page, but that’s it. It then prompts you to log into old oracle page using sign in info that doesn’t work. The desktop version bypasses this. PLEASE FIX THIS if you want the phone version to be successful!

Doesn’t Work

I can’t believe that California State University Northridge can’t afford ability just to make a functional app? This app aren’t able to load in the first place it’s just a blank page. If you are a csun student, there is no way to enter csun website on your phone. The website doesn’t work as the app. Big shame on you csun. IT department shame on you.

Doesn’t work

Ever since two factor became mandatory this app is broken. Every time I use it I have to log in. Even when I do log in I can’t check things like my grades because it says I don’t have the right to access them through the app.

Pls make a better app

Go to menu and nothing happens, all it does is show the student portal nothing else.
Wack

Sorry, but this is useless

Not trying to be overly negative, but for most things students might try to do through an app or portal (enroll in classes, check calendar, sign into canvas), nothing works. You have to use your sign in for every single prompt with no option to save. Then you get locked out once you’ve done it a couple of times. For me, this is absolutely good for nothing except for what I can assume is purposeful frustration.

Can’t access alumni card

I can’t access my alumni card - I keep getting an error… and this is the only way to access it at all.

App keeps signing me out too.
