Not user friendly
Clunky and difficult to navigate. You have to manually scroll through all of students in the school to find yours. No option to type it in. Bare bones

Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work. Never will actually sync to the servers for initial synchronization.

Was fantastic, now having issues.
I used to use this app all the time to check off progress steps with my students while flying. I loved how after I selected a student, it would automatically take me to their next phase in sequence. After the last update, it no longer does this. Every student I select it shows stage 1 phase 1 regardless of where they are in the program. It also does not allow me to look at their training record as they all show up blank. I’m sure this might just be an issue that could be solved with an update. But wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Would love to see it addressed.

Terrible, Terrible App
This is, by all metrics, a terrible app. From a UI / UX perspective, it’s just horrendous. In addition, the app crashes and freezes constantly.
We’re in 2021, the world has moved to intuitive, user friendly and stable applications, but CTA is stuck in the 90s, and will likely never changed.
If I wasn’t forced to use CTA by my employer, I would never touch it again. Did I mention it’s a terrible app?
CTA, if you’re reading this (I know you’re not), please do all your customers an immense favor: Take some of your profits and reinvest in yourself by hiring a competent, relevant team of UI/UX designers to wireframe your applications. Then pay a new team of developers to rebuild this application from the ground up, and bring yourself into this century.

Seriously Lacking
Freezes every single time. I have to exit out and reload at least three times to complete one lesson entry. Can’t remove deleted entries. Good idea but poorly implemented.

For a mobile app, the lack of flexibility is surprising. You cannot use it in portrait mode. This is a ridiculous and inexplicable design choice.
I cannot figure out an intuitive way to look at a students entire previous training record, only showing most current entry.
The only way to pull up student records who aren’t assigned to you forces you to scroll through the entire student list. In landscape mode on a mobile phone this is incredibly difficult. The scroll field is too small, causing you to continually and accidentally minimize the app, just trying to get to a student name that is far down the alphabet. This should be a text searchable field. When you are a check instructor, you are looking at the entire client base, not just your own students. Someone should’ve taken this into consideration. Chief pilot and assistant chiefs would have the same problem.
Whoever designed this simply tried to adapt an already clunky interface from the desktop.
Modern designs and user interfaces have made this a simpler task and should be adopted. Very disappointed with this app. It has great potential to be useful.

Hard to use on iPhone
Very hard to use app in an iPhone. Too much is missing from screen. Cumbersome. Ready to throw the phone out the window

iPad Pro user... this app is terrible. So many bugs I don’t even know where to start. Freezes my IPad, shows lessons that have been deleted in the training record.

Login screen looks funny. Please update. Works on iPad not on iPhone.

iOS 11
Good amount of glitches with iOS 11 rendered the app unusable. For example, all tasks/completion standards are blank and missing text. Before the upgrade to iOS 11 the app worked great & super convenient, hence the five star review. The customer list doesn’t update in the sense when customers are removed from the customer list on website, it still shows as my customer in app.
