What's New in Cube Solver

1.2.0

August 20, 2026

Parity, explained • A new Parity screen on the home page: every big-cube parity case, previewed on a spinning 3D cube so you can spot yours at a glance. Grouped by cube size, with the fix algorithm and an animated walkthrough. Guided solve at your pace • Playback speed control (0.5x to 8x) in Guided solve, matching the solution player. Scanning that fixes itself • Scanned a face turned the wrong way round? The app now works out the right orientation and carries on, instead of refusing the cube. • Scanned the same side twice? It says so, and tells you which side to redo. • Cubes that can't exist are caught instantly, on your device, pointing at the exact stickers to re-check — no more waiting on a solve that was never going to work.

User reviews

Not good

I put all of my colors in for a 7x7 then it made me pay to solve it

Response from developer

Hello, Sorry for the poor user experience that's on me. As you saw solving a 4x4-7x7 is a Premium feature, but the app does a poor job of letting you know before you've inputted the stickers. I'm going to be pushing an update that makes this clear so other users don't run into the same poor experience that you did. Please email me at bradenb25developer@gmail.com and I'll make it right.
