when you get three in a row, the cubes turn from red or blue to yellow, and you can’t differentiate between them anymore

Unbeatable opening
Move 1 play a corner. Move 2 play adjacent corner farthest away from red. Red is forced to block. Move 3 pick the corner that makes a triangle
