About
I kept losing my place reading scripts off my phone, and walking back to the tripod every time I wanted to stop or start again. So I made Cue.
Put your phone on a tripod and stand where you'd normally film. Give it a thumbs up and it counts you in. The script moves along as you talk, and if you stop to think, it waits for you. When you're done, or you fluff a line, put your hand up. It stops and goes back to the start of that paragraph so you can have another go.
Point up or down to skip between paragraphs. If you'd rather use buttons, tap the screen.
Turn recording on and every take is saved in the app, so you can export the good ones to Photos or share them.
Also in there:
- Import scripts from text, Markdown, RTF or PDF files, or paste them in
- Long-press a word to fix a typo without leaving the session
- Camera mode puts the script right under the lens, so you're looking at the viewer
- Mirror mode if you're using teleprompter glass
- Works in portrait and landscape, on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Unfold the Duo and the script gets bigger to fill the screen
Your first script is free, with everything included. Cue Pro is a one-off purchase for unlimited scripts and iCloud sync. There's no subscription.
Cue uses your camera to see your hand and your mic to follow along. It only records when you switch recording on, and your recordings stay on your phone unless you export them.
