Like but shuts off during recording
Like this app but phone shuts off in the middle of recording. I have to continually tap the screen to keep it going so the phone doesn’t go to sleep

Almost Perfect with One Small Fix
I really enjoyed using the CleanCue Teleprompt app. It’s incredibly intuitive, easy to set up, and fully customizable — from text size to scroll speed and reading pace. It does exactly what you need it to do, and it does it well.
However, there’s one small issue that keeps it from being perfect: the video recording stops automatically when the script ends — even if you’re still mid-sentence. In my case, I was reading the demo script and got cut off simply because the script had reached its last line.
My temporary workaround was to add a few blank lines at the end of the script to trick the app into continuing. This works, but it’s not ideal.
If the developer adds an option to manually stop recording instead of tying it to the script length, this would easily be a 5-star app. It’s a great tool that just needs a minor tweak to be truly flawless.

Great interface. Not exactly settings friendly
I’ve been looking for a free app to use as a Teleprompter. This app seems solid however, the settings are not exactly stable. When attempting to speed the video up a slow down, the timer automatically adjust to whatever it thinks the time shall be. You’re not allowed to change it until you start a totally new video. And if you change the settings, then it’s still updates as if you never updated the a lot of time. It also doesn’t allow you to update the speed until your recording. If these things were updated to hold your settings, I believe this will be a super solid app.

I get super nervous before public speaking. This app helped me rehearse my lines without flipping through paper. The scrolling is smooth, but it crashed once on me. Hope that gets fixed.
Finally, something my dad can use
My dad’s not great with phones, but he actually figured this out on his own. He uses it for his church announcements. Only thing, he wishes the text could be a bit bigger. Still, pretty cool!

App works well for my TikTok stuff, but sometimes the scroll is a lil jumpy. Still, gets the job done and the import from Files is super handy.
