Perfect

I plan on using this for my wedding in October and so far I LOVE IT! The set up is easy and simple to use. I tested all of my music and the transitions between songs is great. I love that I can fade out at any time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic!!

This is singlehandedly the best decision I’ve ever made for my wedding. Me and my wife were hesitant on purchasing a DJ for around 3k and I got recommended Cue the Moment through a friend and it performed flawlessly and saved me thousands. Music flowed perfectly and very easy to use overall.

The best

This app is exactly what I needed for my wedding. The fading in and out is perfect. I used it for my dance floor and loved that I could trim the songs and they crossfaded smoothly from one song to the next.

Not as smooth as you’d like

Please be aware this is app is only compatible with APPLE MUSIC or else you have to purchase every song from Amazon. I wish I was more aware of that prior to purchasing the app.

I love that it could fade my songs but I still had to had someone select “cue next moment” at the end of every fade out for the next song to begin. I wish it would have all just faded together instead of relying on someone the entire time.

It worked well for the ceremony (I had a designated cue-er) and the music faded great. I was hoping this app would work for the reception too and you could almost DJ ur own songs before hand and fade music out because you don’t always want to listen to the entirety of a song. While you can “crop” songs, you cannot fade songs into each other without having someone click “cue next moment.” So it would have been every 2-3 minutes someone still acting as the DJ to get the effect you’d want.

Great idea of an app, but it did not perform the way I was hoping. I can’t think of other options but I wouldn’t recommend this purchase.

We also want to clarify how the music works, both for you and anyone else reading. Cue The Moment has two types of sections: 1. Playlist Sections work similarly to a Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Songs automatically advance and crossfade into the next song with no user intervention. 2. Special Moments, such as the ceremony, grand entrance, first dance, and parent dances, are intentionally cue-based. This gives you full control over exactly when each song starts, so nothing begins before the couple is ready. :) We really appreciate you sharing this feedback. It helped us identify that we need to make the difference between auto-advancing Playlist Sections and cue-based Special Moments much clearer, both in the app and before purchase!

Amazing

Exceptional customer support. This is a new app and it’s doing great things and going to go great places. There have been some issues but every time I contact them, I can incredible support from them. Cannot say enough about how cool this app is making the music portion of my wedding. I wish I had known about it months ago!!

Perfect!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks to this app we will be able to DIY our wedding music and save money on a DJ! We already put our songs in to try it out and it fades everything perfectly. It’s organized very nicely as well and love that you can start the songs at whatever spot you choose. I would say this is much better than trying to have someone start/stop the songs from your music library. Only downfall is that this runs on Apple Music and we have Spotify, but we will just pay for a month subscription as needed.

Was so excited and am now disappointed!

I downloaded this and was so excited to use it on our wedding day. Was happy that this would make it easier on our buddy who was our DJ and emcee, however I was not able to troubleshoot the app at all or look at how it worked before paying the fee. That was frustrating but also makes sense. What I just couldn’t get behind was how the music flowed, the idea behind it is excellent, but every single time there was long awkward pauses between songs playing. This is exactly what I don’t want happening on the dance floor. There was no way to adjust this and because of that I was not able to use the app for my event, even after I paid for it!

Some songs have trailing silence at the end, which can cause longer pauses between songs. This can usually be fixed by trimming the end of the song before playback. Cue the Moment is designed to crossfade songs, so once that silence is trimmed, transitions should be much smoother. Thank you again for the honest feedback! Didn’t realize you have to go through amazon or apple music. Have to pay extra not worth it.

AMAZING!!

This is such a game changer! You can either pay seven dollars a month or just pay $20 for lifetime access! I just started playing around with it and it has already relieved so much stress and I’m actually having a lot of fun making everything exactly how we want it!

Very Responsive

When I came across an issue with the app, the developer was very quick to respond and fix the issue promptly before my wedding! We used the app for our ceremony music and it worked perfectly.

Additional Costs for songs on top of the £20 for downloading the app

Cannot use Spotify subscription for songs etc, you have to purchase songs on Amazon and download them, top of the £20 for the app itself, feels redundant and expensive for what it is.

Cue The Moment works with Apple Music, which allows you to add most songs without purchasing them individually. Unfortunately, Spotify does not currently allow its music to be used within third-party apps like ours. Many couples who normally use Spotify subscribe to Apple Music for the month of their wedding. Apple Music also offers a convenient way to transfer playlists from Spotify, and from there, adding them to Cue The Moment is simple. We completely understand if this setup isn’t right for you. Either way, please contact us so we can help make this right.

Thank YOU to this app for making my special night the way I wanted it to be, easy, accessible, and affordable. not only was everything so easy to set up, my night went exactly how I imagined in my head and my guests absolutely loved the music I curated the whole night. I will never again be using a DJ after my awful experience and this app truly changes the game! 100/10 stars!! 💃

Unable to Upload Music

I did not realize before buying a subscription that the only way to add music to this app was to either have an active Apple Music subscription or to buy MP3 downloads of EVERY song off amazon. After spending $50 on a lifetime subscription I figured it was just as well to buy the MP3 downloads so that I could use it. However, the downloads would not work for my region (Canada). So now I’m out the $50 and I have an app that is of no use to me. I think it should be displayed clearly that the app is only compatible with Apple Music and Amazon MP3 download purchases as I thought I could just search and select a song.

I’m very picky when it comes to what I like and what I don’t, so I was planning to do the music for my wedding in September myself, and this is making it soooo much easier!!

FANTASTIC!!!

This app makes everything better! I run a live theatre, and I wish our software to cue music and moments was this seamless. Not only did it make the ceremony and reception flawless, but it was absolutely a godsend for the rehearsal. It was the first time - in the hundreds of weddings I’ve been part of - where everything could be practiced in REAL TIME. With limited time in the venue, it was also a HUGE time saver. Everything is done completely in advance and quality checked (so no worry about DJ AD-libs). All transitions were perfect. No dumb mistakes. All this and it saved big $$$ - which as the father of the bride I really appreciated.
