I recommend exploring the possibility of securing a second mortgage and engaging a reputable general contractor to complete your property rather than utilizing the services of Curbio. In my personal experience, Curbio's website methodology did not align with the actual service provided. Furthermore, their fees were nearly double those of other companies offering comparable services. For instance, when I sought bids for painting the interior of my house, Curbio's bid was significantly higher, lacking proper justification or detailed coverage of the work. Additionally, Curbio's inventory was limited, and they did not offer certain services such as installing a kitchenette or an extra toilet. Communication with my project manager was inadequate, resulting in project delays. When I escalated my concerns, the response from Curbio's leadership was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, my negative experience with Curbio has cost me over $100,000 + due to the subsequent drop in home prices. It is advisable to obtain independent bids and explore alternative options before engaging in business with Curbio.
One year later, I received an email from a Curbio staff threatening to sue if I didn’t pay $40,000 for alleged breach of contract. This despite this person having no first hand knowledge of my engagement or its many issues.

True Story
The project haven't even started yet and we are entering week 3. I could have just used a local contractor that would've got the work done cheaper and did the work within 2 days. If it wasn't for us already signing a contract with Curbio to where if my client would have pulled out of the contract and still having to pay. We would've been went else where. Work hasn't even started and my Curbio dashboard is saying i met with the contractor. I haven’t met with anybody! and we already closed and Curbio is already paid and no one has looked at the house to even start on the work. First and last time going through them.

For example, I received three bids to paint my house interior and Curbio's bid was significantly higher without proper justification or details on what would be covered. They also had limited inventory and did not offer certain services like installing a kitchenette or extra toilet. Communication with my project manager was poor and there were delays in starting the project. When I escalated the matter, the response from leadership was unhelpful and dismissive.
