About
Curio gathers what you follow into one quiet place to read: news sites, blogs, and new research papers the day they are published.
TODAY
Every feed gets one row with its newest headlines and the number of unread articles in it — and the number matches what you find inside. The single list of everything new is one tap away.
ANY WEBSITE
Paste any page from a site and Curio finds its feed and shows you what it contains before you subscribe. Folders, unread counts, Read Later, keyword filters that hide a subject everywhere, and search across everything you follow. Bring your feeds from another reader with OPML, and take them with you the same way.
READ, UNDERSTAND, CITE
• A clean reader with the text size you choose
• Key points: three to five bullets from Apple's on-device model (needs Apple Intelligence and iOS 26)
• Translate an article with Apple's Translation
• Cite a paper as BibTeX, RIS or APA
• Notes on any article
• Three layouts, light and dark, and seven colour palettes
• Background refresh and at most one reminder a day
• In English and Danish, switchable in the app
ICLOUD SYNC, FREE
Your subscriptions, folders, reading lists, saved articles, notes and what you have read follow you to every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to the same iCloud account. Nothing to set up.
CURIO PRO
Up to 5 websites, Today, Read Later, search, OPML, themes, key points, translation, citations and iCloud sync are free. Curio Pro adds:
• Unlimited websites: follow as many as you like
• Research feeds: follow a PubMed search or an arXiv topic and get new papers as they appear, or follow journals directly — The Lancet, NEJM, Nature, Science, Cell and 96 journals in all, read from the journals' own sites — plus the science sources in Popular sources
• Sync with Curio for Android and Windows through a folder you choose, in iCloud Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox
• Reading lists for a project, with their citations exported in one go
• Listen: articles read aloud with the voices on your device
Curio Pro is available monthly, yearly or once. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your subscriptions, articles and notes stay on your device — in your own iCloud if iCloud sync is on, and in your sync folder if you choose one. Feeds come straight from the publishers, and research feeds ask PubMed and arXiv directly. Nothing reaches us.
