Overrun by lengthy ads
Like others have said, this app used to be great and I’d put up with short ads to get latest fx rates but now they go on for ages so I’ve lost the will to live and won’t use this at all any more. Shame.
Use calculator app instead
The app is completely ruined by adverts. It’s basically unusable unless you pay. I highly recommend using the calculator app instead as this has its own currency conversion mode which is just as good and obviously ad-free.

Used to love this app but increasing frustrated by not just the ads, but the fact you cannot clear them from your screen once they show up. There is a button on the ad which says “ close” but no matter how many times you hit it, the ad does not go away. I appreciate that ads produce revenue, but if I wanted to download said advert, I can do that in c 10 seconds, so why do the ads not have a shelf life before they disappear or at least a “close” operation that actually works?

This app is great. It really helps to get a good idea on currency values whilst abroad.
Was the best
I was using this for years and absolutely acceptable with the reasonable length ads but now can’t continue waiting ages for rate updates with lengthy ads that are getting longer and longer and just can’t be closed (they often hide the cancel X). Shame as it’s been my go to tool but perhaps time to move on. Thanks.

Excellent app
This is a great app. It automatically updates rates, is quick and I use it whenever I’m travelling or buying from overseas. Cannot fault it.

Excellent app. Practical to use. Helpful especially when travelling.
Unusable without Paying.
I made the mistake of thinking the advertisements wouldn’t be invasive. But within 10 seconds of launching the app for the first time I got hit with a popup to update price rates and then BOOM, unskippable FULLSCREEN advertisement.
Waste of time.
Just make the app £5 and don’t put it as free if it is unusable without the fees.
