Currency Converter: Widget

SEE WHERE YOUR RATES COME FROM A new line under the title bar names the rate provider and shows how long ago the rates were downloaded, counting up as they age. If a refresh fails and saved rates are standing in, it turns amber and says so until the connection is back. Pull the list down, or tap the line, to fetch again. CHARTS NOW WORK OFFLINE Rate history is saved as you view it, so a period you were just on opens instantly and charts still draw with no connection. A stalled network no longer leaves you watching a spinner that never finishes. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Your free daily conversions are spent only when you press Convert. Opening the app, background refreshes and editing your currency list no longer use them up. • A new Share Usage Data switch in Settings puts analytics under your control. • No more tracking permission request at launch, and the amounts you type are never sent to analytics. • A currency the rate table does not quote now shows N/A instead of a blank. • Faster launch, plus a fix for charts briefly showing the wrong pair after switching quickly. Currency Converter handles 150+ world currencies plus 30 cryptocurrencies and gold, silver, platinum and palladium — with offline access, rate history charts and a Home Screen widget.
