Deeply Disappointed by Politics Overriding Creativity and Universal Values
I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this change. Replacing Taiwan’s original flag display with Simplified Chinese makes it clear that political considerations have been placed above creativity itself and above the universal values that should be respected by any platform. An app should respect users’ cultural identity and basic forms of representation, rather than allowing political ideology to override neutrality and respect. This decision is deeply offensive and seriously damages users’ trust in the platform. For this reason, I can only give it one star.

I’ve used this app for years, and after updating to the newest version, I was shocked to see the Taiwanese flag replaced with wording that calls it a “region.” This is extremely disappointing and spreads false information.

I am very disappointed by the decision to remove Taiwan’s national flag and replace it with the label “Taiwan area.” This is a discriminatory and politically motivated change that misrepresents Taiwan and disrespects the identity of its people. On top of that, the use of simplified Chinese is incorrect, as it is not used in Taiwan. This update is inaccurate, offensive, and unfair to Taiwanese users.
