Frozen on parrot puzzle
Cannot proceed past this puzzle, which isn’t working. It shows me it needs completing, but won’t actually load the puzzle. Nothing else needs doing, this is the only available puzzle to do, and it’s not working so cannot proceed. Paid for the game, and cannot play it. Not happy.

Very disappointed as I paid £5.99 for this game which lasted 2 hours. All other games have more content and last at least 2 days.

I have been playing HOPA(aka HOAG) for awhile & stopped for several years until later last year so you can imagine my surprise; no more Big Fish to find this genre😳. I do thank the old school fans/reviewers for guiding me on how to proceed❣️I have great appreciation for the developers who are now putting out these games on their own. Sad to see Artifex Mundi, MadHead, etc have to give up on iOS. For Elephant as a developer, I’m not always downloading & looking for new games because they all seem like the same games over & over😬. Paranormal __ or ___investigations. Sorry to be on the harsh side but after playing this particular game as well as the Crossroads game, I now KNOW you have the ability to be different. I don’t doubt your quality because all your games have the “bells & whistles”, unique puzzles & graphics are always awesome(if a bit too dark, literally)but I get SO bored with most of the games you put out now🙇🏻♀️ This game was a refreshing change. I usually love horror, as a whole, but it doesn’t have to be so bland & dark(again Crossroads was awesome!) I want to love your games again. I understand the loyalty because a lot of other developers lean towards fantasy but I wish you would try something different like this more often instead of staying with the same title #23(exaggeration but not by much) Not only does it get old but newer players, (or players like myself who have taken breaks from this genre for one reason or another) aren’t going to hop on the 🐘 wagon. Loved the backwards Snow White tale. This was a great effort & change! It was a little fantasy but 100% your uniqueness & quality still shone through 🌟 Keep trying something new & maybe add some more interactive elements? I appreciate all the time & effort that are put into all your games because I’m aware it’s something I could never do. I definitely recommend this game & hope to see more like it from this developer in the (very) near future💕

Cursed Fables: White as Snow by LynxMinx
Once Elephant dealt with the quality assurance issues, this was actually a cute little game. It had an ironic twist in regards to the fairy tale Snow White. Instead of a princess bewitched by her evil stepmother, Snow White was a malevolent vampire. I am not a fan of vampires but the game was an enjoyable romp, with lots of interesting characters, some of whom were actually altruistic. The game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure. The graphics were pleasant and pretty. Collectibles included puzzle pieces and character voodoo dolls. The HO scenes had a good variety. Many of the mini-games were rotational, and I am quite tired of those. The basic gameplay featured the usual addictive element and at least had some interesting inventory usage. At times several of the mini-games were difficult to manipulate. In a couple of locations, the screen went “black” except for areas where one needed to use an inventory tool. If not for mediocre quality assurance, I would not have deducted a star. My rating will remain at 4 stars. Happy gaming, everyone, and please be sure to update your reviews as this game was fixed! If you don’t do so, others won’t play and we won’t receive games from this developer. I have been informed that Haunted Hotel and Mystery Trackers have been retired, but there will be a couple of new series. Let’s look forward to those and hope that Elephant can get a handle on their quality assurance ineptitude!

Good Game
Had no problems with the game play once developer made some fixes. Enjoyed the game thoroughly. The game only had 3 chapters plus bonus. Seems a bit much to shorten the games since we are already paying more for each game . 🙁 Nevertheless, thank you developers for a fun game.

6/1 - For those who tried to play Paranormal 8, please be advised that thanks to LynxMinx this game has been removed from the App Store until it is playable.
Update 5/24 - after the update I am happy to say the game proceeded flawlessly. The update even eliminated the beheaded guard (thanks for that). Although vampire themes are not my favorite, this one was less gory and more melancholy than most. I will therefore revise my rating to 4 stars - would have been a 5 if not for the unfortunate beginning, but it was updated quickly. Update 5/21/22 - I tried playing the trial portion of the game but it totally locked up in the room with the two guards (one of whom loses his head). Also, there is programming language visible on the game pages. UNACCEPTABLE!!! 5/20/22 I purchased the game but it will not unlock. Please correct or I will have to ask for a refund AGAIN!!! Second game in a row with an unacceptable problem.

Snow White as Snow
Loved this game. I gave 4 stars because bonus game was a little clunky a few times. That still doesn’t change my overall approval of this game. Must buy, you will be entertained.

Fun game
I just finished playing this game and I experienced absolutely no issues with the game play.
The Hidden Object Puzzles were a bit different, and required some thinking and seeking skills.
The Logic puzzles were logical, and not beyond solving. Did I solve all of them the first time? No. Did I need to skip any? No.
The map is extremely helpful for transporting to locations. It also shows you if all the ‘extra’ objects still need to be found. Kudos to the artistic team hiding the puzzle pieces! They did a great job.

The game has a show symbol in the top left corner and does not go away. When you hit it , it looks like a keyboard for testing.
Update Tuesday May 24th. The game is fixed and was quite good. I had no problems after the fix. The game I think was rushed without checking it first but it does work now. So now I will give 3 stars instead of 5 because it had to be fixed which players do not deserve.

Freezes
I am having the exact same issue as the other player’s. I remember the date of release was not yet due so i think it was released to early. Also my son while trying to help me noticed game development UI testing stuff. Sorry i am not a tech phobe but he said it was what the development team use creating the game, he said it is not finished. He is 16 wants to go into game development himself so knew what it all was straightaway. I look forward to playing it once its completed as i love your game’s.

Updated review: The devs fixed the glitch promptly and the game works perfectly now, so please don’t hesitate to buy! It’s a great one in their lineup, I love the twist on the classic Snow White tale that reverses the roles and makes her the villain. Beautiful graphics, gorgeous scenery, and innovative HOPs made this an enjoyable experience!
