Thanks to everyone at the CWGC for this great app. Finding a Grandpa and a Great Uncle was made so easy when we visited. Thanks, too, for the work done by Pam and Ken Linge recording the stories of the fallen for the future.

A marvellous app that really brings home the human cost of this war. The men who died feel so much more real when you know their background. This app ensures they’re not just names, but human beings who had hopes and dreams just like us.

Once downloaded you don't need an Internet connection - big plus!
Easy to find a soldier on the memorial, has same info as the CWGC registers with the big addition of some personal stories

Name-search too inflexible but name-finder is good
Only just got this, so my review is a First Impression.
Using my mobile, I input 1st & last names of my great uncle, whose name I know to be commemorated there. There were no matches. When I dropped the 1st name, his full name was listed.
Having said that, the name-finder worked well: I would be able to find his name on this massive memorial, using that.
I haven't spotted how I might contribute to his Story page, which is currently greyed out.
