Night has fallen and the monsters are already running at you. Cyber Monster Hunter is a fast arcade runner about one hunter, one gun and a horizon that will not stop sending things over it. Move, jump, shoot, survive. Every creature that gets past you is a point and a spare bullet, so the only way to stay armed is to keep letting them come. HOW IT PLAYS Two thumbs and no tutorial. Left and right to move, one button to jump, one to fire. You start with an empty magazine: ammunition comes only from the monsters that run past you, never from the ones you kill. Hoarding shots and playing safe are the same mistake. Seven kinds of creature unlock as your score climbs, and they do not politely take turns. One hops. One flies in and lands in front of you. One is twice as fast. Two of them soak up extra hits. One fires an icy shot straight down the lane, and one tears itself in two a moment after it arrives. The further you get, the faster the whole thing moves.
