Ocular health
This is a great game. I am just concerned about how small the text in the game is. There is a large body of literature detailing the harmful effects of small text and blue light from technology on the younger generations' ocular health. Other than this I am obsessed with this game. Unlike the previous review I would argue this game is age appropriate for those age 4 and 5.

Fun but Racist. Beware: Very Addicting
Why is the main protagonist, the person everyone is rooting for, the cube, green? Are we supposed to assume that anything blue in our lives are antagonists, just barriers to our success? Do we just ride on purple things all day? If you’re going to be colorful represent the whole rainbow buddy. Yet my passion for social justice is quenched with my ever-longing and overwhelming desire to keep playing this game for hours on end. Yes it’s fun but it’s too fun. It’s become a problem. I haven’t seen my wife and kids in weeks. Tell my wife Karen I miss her and tell my kids Tony and Katie I still love them. I don’t know where they are. Heck I don’t even know where I am. I’m in the middle of the woods and I only have 8% battery left. I don’t think anyone can hear my howls. If I don’t make it I want everyone to remember my high score of 39. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Age Appropriate?
This game is basically the best thing I’ve ever played, but it’s more of a 6+ than 4+ game
Is anyone gonna say it
The green cube is hot
This game really makes you feel like a box
Becoming a box: it’s one of the most common and clichéd fantasies of our time. It’s presence in modern worldwide digital media, along with its cultural effect over the past decade simply cannot be overstated.
Most people spend their youth longing for just a glimpse of that endless pink highway, imagining the cool, night air lightly bouncing off each of their congruent faces as they weave in and out through a sea of blue adversaries. It’s an idea that’s captivated me and my peers for longer than I can remember. This game is maybe the first true entryway into our wildest fantasies.
Story: 10/10
Characters: 10/10
You play as a goofy, but lovable “box” that I instantly found both likable and relatable. Don’t expect just another overly-romanticized, better-than-life superbox that can seemingly do no wrong. This box isn’t infallible, and he doesn’t try to be. He has his own weaknesses and he knows them. He makes mistakes and loses hope. This game doesn’t shy away from the grittier and darker scenes that are often avoided when we think about what it means to be a box. And, at the same time, it doesn’t hide the fun, light-hearted moments of day-to-day box life.
Along your path you’ll meet many uniquely imaginative personalities, both friend and foe, that each come across as truly three dimensional. Add to this the rarely well executed “ultra-realistic” art style and what you get is a genuine, true-to-life, box experience.
Overall, I have to give “Digit Chase” a 10/10. It exceeds its genre and redefines what it should mean to be a video game. This all around instant-classic will surely be held as the new standard for years to come.
