About
Many routines are made of rounds: a phase, then a rest, then the next round. Cycle Pulse counts them, round by round, on your Apple Watch.
On Apple Watch a large timer runs in the colour of the phase: orange during a round, teal during the rest. Beside it, your current pulse, the highest pulse of the round, and the round you are on. Swipe left to end the session or engage Water Lock.
ON THE WATCH
• Large phase timer, orange for round, teal for rest
• Current pulse and the maximum of the running round
• Always-On: phase, elapsed time and pulse stay visible
• Water Lock against accidental taps
• Reminder taps at an interval you choose, or switched off entirely
• Action button on Apple Watch Ultra: one press switches between round and rest
ON THE IPHONE
• Statistics per day, week, month, year or all time
• Round time, sessions, rounds, calories, heart-rate trends
• Longest session, favourite weekday, favourite time of day
• History with every single round
• A note per session: "Evening rounds, felt relaxed"
• MET value and body weight adjustable
EVERYTHING STAYS WITH YOU
Apple Health is the only store. Each finished session is written as a workout, with heart rate per round and the estimated energy burned; the round structure and the note ride along as metadata. The app keeps no database of its own, has no account, no server and no advertising, works fully offline and collects nothing. Delete a session in the app and it is deleted in Health too.
Calories are estimated with the MET model, counting only the time spent in rounds, not the rests. The MET value is adjustable between 1.5 and 2.0; body weight comes from Health or from settings.
Cycle Pulse is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis or treatment.
