I use this app for cycling around London, and I would literally be lost without it.
I find that the options provided are different to other apps, using routes that are more direct.
Also I’ve found so many short cuts by using this app that I would have never thought of before.
On the whole really good for cyclists, keep up the good work!!

Quick response to a problem
I was unable to log in for some reason - sent an email asking for a quick response and within an hour my issue was sorted! If only all ‘apps’ and businesses provided that sort of service and showed they valued customers. THANK YOU CycleMaps!

Easy app to use
Great simple and easy app to use. Easy to import rides on GPX and easy to plan rides or just pick destination and go. Thanks guys

Fabulous app
Really easy to use and has many useful features. I mainly use it in London and it keeps surprising me with new cycle routes. I like the 3 modes - Direct, quiet and balanced.

I use the app all the time. I trust it to get me from A-B along safer routes. Now all I have to work out is finding a place to secure my bike when I arrive at my destination and how to mitigate against stupid pedestrians…

Reliable Navigation for Cycling

The app improved a lot; a long-awaited feature became available with the latest release. The pan function, whilst approaching a crossing or other areas, allows for easy navigation through London’s traffic jungle.

I have been using Google Maps for all my cycling and have got tired of misrouted or inconvenient navigation.
After a couple of trips with this app now, I’m more than happy to explore unfamiliar yet safe terrain in London. It's really fun to pass through parks and quiet side streets, detached from the traffic.
I will give 5 stars once a female voice navigation will be made available ;)

My feedback given to the developers is acknowledged, a night-day mode feature will coming soon :)

Essential for cycling
I’ve tried pretty much all of the cycling mapping apps and this is by far the best. I find it essential for navigating around London and taking advantage of the cycle network. The routing options are great. The developers are also receptive to feedback. Thanks!
Perfect for use with my electric scooter
Been using this app for going on two years with an electric scooter I purchased. I fly into airports with my small plane and then use the Scooter together with the app to go to a local diner for breakfast. I usually travel anywhere from 2 to 5 miles one way. The app has never failed me and I love how I get the directions in my little EarPod as well as having the phone mounted on the handlebars.

Très bon GPS pour vélo!
Connaît bien mieux les pistes cyclables de ma ville que Plan ou Google Map. Propose toujours des chemins sécuritaires sur des routes partagées ou des pistes cyclables. Seul défaut à mes yeux: l’application n’est qu’en anglais.

Good for what it is for. Some extra features would make it better.
It’s quite good for what it says it does: planning your cycling route! I would give it 5/5 stars if it would have shown alternative routes to choose when planning a trip, and would have the option to select specific roads/streets/safety levels.

Finding some magic
We have been using the App to help us explore London. Using the quiet setting has led us through woods, parks, by rivers and canals all while crossing central London. Our last ride took us to the front doors of the Hilton Doubletree Hotel, through the lobby, past reception and out the back doors on to the ferry to Canary Wharf. The view was amazing and the moment felt magical.

Cycling freedom
CycleMaps has been there for me all along. Helped me discover quieter routes and enjoy my freedom. Supports cyclists to explore the whole country. Hope it expands as more and more people take up cycling.
No alternate routes
The app shows only one option to get to your destination, the route I was going on led me to a road with no bike lanes where the speed limit was 80 km/h (50 mph) so I turned back and was unable to get a better route with the app. It is good concept but has poor execution, there are little to no explanations on what certain features do, although most are easy to understand. Having voice directions under a paywall is also kind of bad especially considering that most other regular map apps have it for free. This app is probably ok for short distances but I would recommend using a different app.
