You need to have a group set up for wifi when the smart bulbs are installed in a room, instead of installing it individually. Itâs painful to reset whenever there is a network change

Unable to sync lightbulbs. Not enough info to determine processâŚ. Turn it on? How? No light showing⌠etc etc
Where are the widgets?
The app is minimally functional, and the user interface is confusing. My biggest gripe is the omission of widgets. Im having a hard time thinking of an app with a more suitable use case for widgets. A simple light switch on my home screen would be fantastic. it seems like such a natural feature yet Cync is completely absent on the widgets page. The fact that this feature hasnât been implemented speaks to the bare-bones approach the developers are taking with this app. If there is still a development team, what exactly are you being paid for?

Too difficult to reconnect to Wi-Fi
Moved to new home had the most difficult time reconnecting to my new Wi-Fi system

Does not connect, very slow and forgets the device
Very Laggy
Iâve been using these lights without issue for years now but for whatever reason they wonât connect like theyâre supposed to. It usually connects to my phone straight away but for the past week now it âneeds a second to thinkâ when it didnât before. It used to change the lights at the exact same time I adjusted them but now the app is very laggy and Iâm starting to get very frustrated with the lag and connection times.

waste of money
paying $7 for a lightbulb that wonât connect or work with this terrible app. i also shouldnât have to make a whole account etc just to set up a light bulb
Has a mind of its own
This app doesnât work very well at all. It basically ignores the settings you choose and does whatever it wants. Changes the colors of the lights so they donât match, even when theyâre grouped together. Doesnât always show the correct status (On or Off). Turns down the brightness whenever lights turn on. Turns one light on and one off. Tech support could not solve the issue.

the routines donât work, even after clearing cache and resetting app and lights. The app is nearly unnavigable, lot of redundancy across pages. If y can I would get different lights

Cync works great, but I had a little trouble adding a new bulb to an existing program. I eventually got it and everything is working. Cync reached out to me with fantastic customer service if I needed any assistance.
