Cynosure

Cynosure is the private alumni network of Tolani Maritime Institute — built and run by a committee of alumni, for alumni. FIND YOUR SHIPMATES • Search the directory by name, batch, rank, company, city, or what people can help with. • See your batch, and invite the batchmates who are not here yet. ASK THE FLEET • Need a berth, a port contact or help preparing for orals? Post an ask and the shipmates who can help see it. • Reply when you can help, and say thank you when it worked. ROLES AND REFERRALS • Roles at sea and ashore, posted by alumni. • Ask a shipmate inside a company to open a door for you, or offer to open one yourself. MEETUPS AND EVENTS • A map of where shipmates are, who is travelling, and what is on. • Call a meetup in your city in a minute, and add events to your calendar. PRIVATE AND SAFE • For Tolani alumni only, by invitation, and new members are checked. • You decide who sees your phone number and email. • Report anything inappropriate and block anyone, right from their post or profile. The admins review every report within 24 hours. • Sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. No passwords. • Delete your account at any time from your profile. No ads. No tracking. Free.
