About

CypherAir X is an offline OpenPGP tool built for the post-quantum era: encryption designed to withstand future quantum computers, and private keys that physically cannot leave your device. POST-QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY (RFC 9980) Generate OpenPGP keys that combine ML-KEM encryption and ML-DSA signatures with classical curves — up to ML-KEM-1024 with X448 in the High tier. The Encrypt screen shows when a message is fully quantum-safe: every recipient key must be post-quantum. DEVICE-BOUND KEYS, SEALED IN HARDWARE Device-Bound key families are created inside the Secure Enclave. Their private key material is non-exportable — it cannot be copied, backed up, or extracted — and using it always requires biometric authentication. Device-Bound Post-Quantum keys use split custody: the post-quantum half lives in the Secure Enclave while the classical half is sealed to the device. NINE KEY FAMILIES, TWO CUSTODY MODELS Portable keys can be exported and backed up: Legacy (Curve25519, OpenPGP v4 — works with GnuPG and all major PGP tools), Modern and Modern · High (OpenPGP v6, Ed25519 or Ed448, AEAD encryption, Argon2id passphrase protection), and Post-Quantum in two strengths. Device-Bound keys are sealed to this device and cannot be exported: Legacy, Modern, and Post-Quantum in two strengths. EVERYTHING STAYS ON THIS DEVICE • Zero network connections. No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts — nothing to leak. • Encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify text and files, streamed for large data. • Share public keys by QR code using the system Camera — the app itself needs no camera permission. • Manage contacts, key expiry, and revocation; protect the app with biometric lock. • Practice first in the Guided Tutorial — an isolated sandbox that never touches your real keys or data. OPEN SOURCE First-party code is dual-licensed GPL-3.0-or-later OR MPL-2.0. Source: https://github.com/cypherair/cypherair
