I have the hybrid smart watch the one with black and white silicone the problem here is that it doesn’t want to connect to the app and I already downloaded the other Citizen app why isn’t not working I want to see what the hype is about this application but I still can’t get him because it doesn’t want to connectif there’s a way that we can talk or discuss through email or phone that’ll be amazing because I’m trying to see what other things we can do move forward

Connect it please
Can you please update the app to improve the full connection with my hybrid Citizen Watch it’s such a tease. The only data coming through is my sleep. Nothing else works tried everything please help.

I didn’t download it , not sure how it ended up on my phone , I had to google it to fine out it was for my smart watch. it wants to connect via blue tooth , it searches for a list of blue tooth addresses but doesn’t tell you what it is. with 10 different blue tooth addresses, how do you know which one . I blocked all access, deleted

Great when working
It was great when it was working, after updating the phone IOS, the app restarted and does not connect with the watch anymore.
No updates
Sadly the support team does not keep up with the iOS updates. Meaning your app will stop working after a while and you have to wait until the dev team somehow figures out the problem to make an update. It’s disappointing and annoying that so little support exist for this app. Just check how many updates has been and how many changes the app has gone through in the last couple of years.

Won’t connect
As so many other reviewers have noted, it won’t connect to my gen2 hybrid. How can you invest this much into an app/platform and miss something so basic?
No connection
The citizen app connects immediately to my watch but the YouQ app can’t find it. Literally every other Bluetooth device in the apartment building shows up on the list, but not my Citizen watch.
Broken as of Jan 2025
Sign-in fails with “Error something went wrong, please try again later.” Still broken as of March 2025. An app so bad it cannot even connect to the other Citizen app. Would not recommend the watch or apps at all.

Won’t connect to Hybrid Gen-2 watch. Picks up everything in the house except the watch!!

You have to time the Bluetooth toggle to get this app to pair with its intended target and then it doesn’t go past the sign in screen once it does finally connect.

Connectivity issues
I have the hybrid citizen watch, but YouQ is not syncing with citizen connect at all. I have already connected it to the YouQ which was another hassle. It could be only iPhone related issue, but the app is not useful at all. No way for us to force sync data from citizen connect.
Barely functional
Occasionally tracks heart rate, tracks sleep once a month. Does not sync well with Health app, requires background app updates. Provides no insight other than a line chart based off of a reaction speed test
Useless
2 months of owning the watch and this app still can’t see it. So much for Citizen’s big selling point.
