Born in Spilia, Greece, he immigrated to the U.S. at 11. In 1978, he settled in Danielson, CT, and opened Putnam Pizza in Putnam, CT. Since 2011, D&G Pizza and Pub has been a local favorite in Canterbury, serving up delicious comfort food.
