Great battery system frustrating software
I love my Dabbsson battery system. So much that I own 2 systems each with expansion units, one for home backup and one for my van. However the software has serious flaws that too many times prevent its use. When off grid and without internet, you cannot connect to the unit to control it. It should be able to cache the devices and connect regardless of the phone’s internet connection. Please fix.

I’M NOT LETTING YOU ACCESS MY WI-FI
It is completely unnecessary internet access for a power bank to manage it. Do it with Bluetooth like everybody else.
You don’t NEED my location, you don’t NEED my WiFi password, you don’t NEED my email. Maybe the last one for registration purposes but regardless of that, it’s unnecessary for everything else. Let me manage my freaking product or just don’t lunch an app at all

App quit working
This app was working great until today. And nothing I do will make this app work…
Now the app keeps crashing!
Update: the app has been working really good, but it will not register the AC output in the app. This app still needs a lot of work.

Unfriendly,unhelpful.
I had to return the unit, because I could not set it on “do not shut down” via the device itself. it needed the app. And even on multiple attempts, it did not work so I had to return the unit. What a sad thing of tail wagging the dog.

Latest release 3.6.0 does not address Bluetooth connectivity issues

Power off issues
So this power station (DBS1300)did an update on Dec 21st and after the update if the power station is being charged it cannot be turned off!!
This does not make any sense whatsoever, once it starts charging i need to disconnect from charging source or just wait for it to finish charging before I can turn it off. The power button on the unit does not operate nor does the power button on the app.

The app won’t connect to the device anymore. Basically lost all configuration control.
App is worthless
Does not state of charge on app. If you remotely turn off battery it will not let you remotely turn back on. Since update the fans kick off and on every 20 mins for several mins , for zero reason. Love the system but the app is garbage

I could not get sign into the app, so Dabbsson had one of their Tech employees call me. It was the middle of the night for him, but he walked me through what I was missing, and the app connected on both my iPad, and my Android phone. This application has so many great features for the DBS3500, which is a beautifully engineered generator. SO YOU CAN SHOP IN CONFIDENCE!

Great device, and great new app updated
Great device, and great new iPhone app updated (the previous update rendered the app unusable, but happy to report the latest update has now made it usable once again).

Totally screwed after update
Was working perfectly but the latest update has totally screwed up the text rendering it almost useless to know what does what.
Pretty good but needs updates
Batteries are great and app has been fine. The app needs minor bug fixes and needs an option to turn devices on through the phone. Would also like to be able to stop the device from receiving AC or Solar input as you can with turning on and off output.
