Dachsel Den is a warm, unhurried thinking game starring one long-bodied dachshund on her garden patrol. The garden is cut into soft pastel patches, and exactly one pup is dozing in each of them. No two pups ever share a line, and no two ever sit next to each other, not even corner to corner. That is everything you need to work out where each one is. Press once to scuff a patch you have ruled out. Press twice to dig where you are sure. A wrong dig costs a heart and the pup stays put, so digging is a decision, not a guess. Run out of hearts and nobody scolds you and nothing resets: the pup simply curls up for a nap on the very same garden, and you carry on the moment she wakes. Nothing you have earned is ever taken away. Every garden has one honest solution waiting to be reasoned out, and when the last pup is found she flops over, thoroughly pleased with you.
