Doesnt work’ had me register but never sent the otp to finish the profile! Its a useless app only made to extract data i feel.
Updated app useless
LED controls do not work using the app. Model FTKR50U. Also, Econo mode on the new app does not have L1,L2,L3,L4,L5 like it was there earlier. The load L1-L5 is now only possible with the remote control. Econo mode has no effect in the new app !! LED remains on even in the OFF mode ! The previous app before update was much better and worked fine.
This updated app is absolutely no use.

Connection issue
This app is not connecting to WiFi after changed to new router. I have tried numerous times but no luck.

Every time it’s showing “connecting” and take too much time, UI is also not good

First why do you ask a re-confirmation for on/off this is very bad for smart features like Alexa which is also asking for confirmation for voice commands. Atleast provide some sort of setting for it. App is also very slow.
Display on/off feature missing
Display on/off feature is still missing in this application. My ac has a display i can operate it only via ac remote. There is no option to operate it from app. Same with timer feature it is there from remote and not in application. These are two very major and important features that makes me use remote eventually instead of this app.

Unable to add AC in the app
I have installed the app and then I registered with my phone number. After that I saw the supported AC list for making it working on app. Yet after doing everything and have wifi compatibility with WPS turned on. The app doesn’t care about whether the Ac is added or not. The old app is discontinued for what exactly? When the new app is not even tested or optimised to make the AC work? Will it ever gonna be fixed?

A Must Have App.
The app is quite handy for controlling the AC remotely and checking basic settings. The interface is straightforward, and most features work as expected. However, there are occasional connection issues, and the UI could be a bit more responsive. Overall, it gets the job done and is convenient for daily use.

Enjoying Upgrade kit
Thanks to Daikin for arranging and considering existing customers to the new platform , migration was smooth and service person gave a detailed overview on the features of which I liked the scheduling & energy management . I’m really happy with the rich UI and multi-machine controls and monitoring in a single app .

Experience downgrade
So much disappointed with the app upgrade! The older app used to feel so refreshed and easy to use than this one. First the connection between ac unit and app took some efforts but that is one point. The main concern is the app feels so unfinished and not so friendly to use at this moment. It offers only 3 schedule pairs (on and off) and it is so disappointing for someone who has been putting multiple timers over the night with single click has to stick with only 3 at most! They even removed power support from alexa’s routine schedule so that workaround is also not possible! So so disappointed at this moment! Please work on it and provide better app support

Without any notice old app is discontinued and new app is not connected even when we follow all the on screen steps..old app is good which is using 2022 but now it’s working

Not able to add my AC unit to the app even after resetting the AC multiple times. Poor Service no customer support
Daikin’s service has been extremely disappointing. Despite multiple follow-ups over 1.5 months, there has been no resolution to my issue. The company promised a response from their team, but no one reached out. I spent extra for WiFi compatibility, yet with the old app discontinued, my investment feels wasted. Poor customer support and lack of accountability—definitely not what I expected from a premium brand.

I have installed the application and registered using my email and mobile number when i tried to login i need to enter the mobile number and password which will not work

This app is so poorly designed that it makes me regret purchasing a Daikin AC. The user interface is confusing and unintuitive, making even basic functions frustrating to use. Every action takes around 10 seconds to process, often resulting in errors. This is a major downgrade from the previous 1.0 version.
One of the most glaring issues is the Alexa integration—there’s no option to turn the AC on or off through Alexa routines, which is arguably the most essential function of a smart appliance. It feels as if this app was developed without proper testing, as if an intern put it together and no one at Daikin reviewed it before launch.
For a company of Daikin’s reputation, this app is shockingly subpar. Unless it undergoes a complete overhaul, it’s far easier to just use the physical remote than to deal with this frustrating experience.
Literally any other smart appliance app has a better user experience than this, including a local smart bulb for INR 500!

Poorly designed_App
Iam extremely disappointed with the app that comes with this new kit, Daikin AC Manager 2.0 - India. The UI feels unpolished, poorly designed, and rushed—almost like a beta version that was released without proper testing. The app takes an unacceptable 10 seconds to connect, and every single time it launches, an unnecessary pop-up appears listing supported series. Turning off the AC requires an additional confirmation step, making the process frustratingly slow. Even accessing the menu is unnecessarily complicated with a two-step process.
It is shocking that your developers did not even bother to retain the user-friendly aspects of the previous application. This is a massive downgrade, and if Daikin values its customers, immediate improvements are necessary.
