Daily Bread
An app that provides a key verse from the Bible each day to read or listen to. Alarms can be set to prompt usage. The free version provides all the functionality I think I need, with the subscription providing more backgrounds and music. The app integrates with the excellent Olive Tree Bible Study app to study the verse of the day in detail, and for reading plans. Works on the Apple watch too. Best for an iPhone, as the iPad version is in portrait only, designed to fit the phone, which is a shame, but no real problem.

Very User Friendly
This is an amazing app. It is able to Sync, cross reference and easily change to other NIV books available. You have several ways to Highlight in multiple colors, Save, Bookmark or make notes on whatever verses you choose in all NIV books available. It provides numerous methods to read scriptures with selectable timelines that suit your needs. I highly recommend this for anyone who’s dedicated to learning or studying the scriptures.
