Missing one feature
Amazing app. Just missing the button to go back and review the solution after solving.
Kludgy User Interface
Didn’t like the UI for moving pieces at all. No way to navigate back to previous puzzles. Uninstalled.
No way to see original position after solving the puzzle

Pure & Simple
I’m not gonna pay for Chess.com just to have unlimited puzzles, so this app is perfect. Plus, sometimes it’s nice to practice without it affecting your rating. I do kinda wish there was a “back” button bc sometimes I hit “next” instead of “hint” but that’s on me lol
Not bad
The graphics blow goats but it’s a good app. It would be nice if you could rewind and forward the moves to see it unfold again and again. For a free app- you could do a heck of a lot worse.

Really improves my chess game
Not good puzzles
I played a couple puzzles and the answers to them did not make any sense. There were a few that completely missed mating opportunities and had me capture material instead. Another had me check the king and allowed a pawn to get captured instead of defending it and promoting. The app also crashes randomly.

This is full of great puzzles to practice and every chess enthusiast should have this app!
Nice app with room for improvement
First of all, I like the idea of being able to solve unlimited puzzles without having to pay for them like I would on Chess.com, so thank you to the developer. Having said that, about 10 minutes into playing these puzzles on this app, I noticed a few features that were missing: 1) there is no sound. I looked through the settings and I cannot find where I can add sound. I’m used to the sound of moving pieces on chess.com when I solve puzzles and it really feels like a big omission here 2) when I solve the puzzle, I cannot go back and replay the moves to better learn the sequence. Once the puzzle is solved my only option is to go to the next puzzle or review the board after it has already been solved. 3) under settings, when I click on change privacy consent, nothing happens. 4) why is there a timer on puzzle solving? If I solve the puzzle in the first few seconds, why should I have to wait seven seconds before I can go to the next puzzle? I would gladly give this app a five star, if the developer is willing to fix these issues.

Thank you for your feedback! I will try to implement your missing features in future updates. Regarding the timer: Because these puzzles are directly from chess.com and you can retrieve a new puzzle only every 15 seconds.

Challenges not explained
Fully half the puzzles are inexplicable. I solve the puzzle when clearly my opponent was able to escape. So what exactly did I “solve”? What was the challenge? It’s no fun playing unless you know what the goal is.

Better chess puzzles out there
Challenges never really explained. Found better mates in two than material gain. Would be better if you knew what was to be solved.
