Daily Gachapon

Daily Gachapon is a little shop that opens once a day. There are three gachapon machines. You get one turn. Pull the lever and the capsule drops. Hold it to twist it open. Inside is a thing, not a message: a stamp, a postcard, a pressed flower, a ticket stub, a box of matches, a word on a cassette label. Turn it over, pinch to look closer, then keep it in the cabinet. The cabinet is a calendar, one square a day, slowly filling up. 1. Curios The shopkeeper's stock: photos, small lines of writing, little objects. What you get is up to today's luck. When a machine sells out, it goes away to restock for a few days. 2. Keepsakes Put in a photo of your own. Come back another day and it turns up as a locket, a slide, a keychain or a page tucked into a book. 3. Later A note to your future self. Write it on a tag or on the moon, or draw something, then seal it with wax. You choose roughly how long. The machine picks the day, and when that day comes it drops out on its own. One a day. No returns, no exchanges. No account. No ads. No tracking. Your photos and notes stay on your phone. · One capsule a day, from one of three machines · What comes out is an object you can hold and look at · A calendar cabinet that keeps every day · Stamp the ones you love, or make an image to share · iPhone and iPad, and made for iPhone Duo, folded or unfolded · In-app languages: English and Simplified Chinese
