Content and Paywall getting silly
This is where you come for some breaking news, which most outlets have and some oped or loosely vetted stories. None of these merit a paywall, but DM seems to think that their platform and the “caliber”of their writers deserve a lot of ad supported content and, lately, a paywall for information you can get elsewhere simply by searching the interwebs for the same content.

Not worth it, app for a paid monthly “news”subscription with too many issues for basic functionality
Frustrating app to encapsulate News. Lands in the middle of news feeds requiring scrolling up to start reading news. It doesn’t manage where it is in the news feeds, often flipping back to something you read earlier. It cannot manage conversation threads in the comments section. If you comment and someone replies, then you reply to their comment, your reply should show under their comment and so on. It doesn’t - it posts it as a reply to your original comment. What a mess, that is basic functionality like an email conversation thread behaves but this can’t. It also terminates your in-edit comments at a set number of characters, but when you post your comment the termination occurs way before so your posted comment looks like it is cut off. These are basic bugs that should have been caught before release.
