Lettering and numbers changed, lines underneath and atop overlapping into one another.
Used the app for many years now and the changes made have spoiled it and I cannot use it as before. Perhaps your new topic line should appear at the top and not the bottom🤷♀️
Dark mode
Now forced to use dark mode in the app as you have removed the option to control the app theme independently from the device’s theme. Fix this please.

Saw response to another review that you’ve removed dark mode and we have to change the display settings on iPhone. Messes up entire phone. Who decided this was a good idea?!!! PUT IT BACK PLEASE!!!. So many other complaints. Tried it and distorts all videos and picture in app. Who decided this was a good idea?? Seriously hurts my eyes to view in light mode!!!

Ruined by videos and AI slop
Sky News used to be my go-to news app. It was quick, straightforward and easy to browse when I simply wanted to see what was happening.
Unfortunately, it has become increasingly cluttered with too many video articles when I would much rather read the news, and the amount of awful AI-generated advertising has become ridiculous. It makes the whole app feel cheap, intrusive and unpleasant to use.
I kept putting up with it because I genuinely liked Sky News as a news source, but I’ve finally had enough and deleted the app. A real shame, because it used to be one of the best news apps available.

Ruined the app
Sky News was my go to app for trusted news. Helpful written stories that could be read in a quiet environment. I’ve updated to the latest version, there is now no way to set a dark mode and far too many videos instead of written stories. When something works so well in the original version why ruin it?
