Too many videos
I have used the Sky News app for years. Now there are too many video articles, and a lot of adverts. Also I uninstalled the app to clear down storage, as it was taking up over a ghig of space, when reinstalling I have lost the setting to enlarge the text. The titles are fine, but the actual font of the articles is tiny. I am still keeping the app for the front pages of the newspapers, but will change my go to app for news because of the videos.

No dark theme, ads and click bait!!
Where’s the dark theme gone? Can we have the news please? 30secs or more ads before some articles? Ads all over the place. Pop-ups. Playing videos automatically when you may have limited data. Links to SPAM. This a click bait App!
Had to delete the app
The app stopped loading, with an apologetic message - tried reinstalling but same result.
Live feed
No interest in the live news tv feed whatsoever. You could just close it before. Seems that opinion has been disabled for some reason. I’d like to be able to turn this off completely in settings.
Nice update
Really like the new update, Dynamic type now fully supported so everyone can choose the size of font they like best. Especially useful on the live news updates. 😊

Too many videos
Had the app for a long time and used to think it was great, but now virtually every story is a video. The Sky news channel starts playing automatically. When you have limited data this is very irritating. I just want stories that I can read and is unbiased unlike the absolutely dreadful BBC.

How disgusting and insensitive to run the title ‘Nepal Floods’ and directly underneath you have funny/stupid ads before the actual report on the devastation happening right now.

Constant App Issues and Non Relevant News
The app keeps crashing. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, but videos keep crashing and the only able to fix it after rebooting app. I would think the issue is with the video ads blocking content when the ads fail to play. Also, the ads at the end of the articles have not been vetted. Some are scams, or counterfeit products. Not a good idea for what should be honest news.
The sky original investigations are really good. But sometimes reporting there is poor content that is compleeely irrelevant to us. Also, when is a news breaks out it provides 2/3 of the same news from different angles. Kinda overwhelming.

Too many ads, they are becoming a real pain!!
Bad new look
Terrible redesign, no option for permanent dark mode and no option for larger text. Being visually impaired I relied on these really useful options.

Ads in a news story is unacceptable, being forced to watch a 20 second ad to watch a 10-15 video clip is 100% unacceptable.
App deleted. I’ll stick to BBC News, it’s not fantastic but at least it’s not riddled with ads.

Way too many Ads to be of any use at all. If you all you only want to read the news, try another App - this one isn’t for you!
For the left
If you are more central or right then sky isn’t for you. About as left wing as it gets and not in the slightest impartial. One of many examples, people who come on boats/lorries are “migrants”. They are illegal immigrates. Migrants are people who come legally, work and are productive members of society.

Censored news
I’ve had sky news for years and trusted that views were informed of reliable, relevant and topical news. I’ve now downloaded GB News and discovered loads of relevant news that the public should be aware of. Sky news clearly does not want to cause a stir when it comes down to immigration. Like most of society it’s Left and Woke.

Too many adverts and videos
I just want concise news. Scrolling is a nightmare. Too easy to click on an ad.

I used to always read Sky news as concise reports. Sadly no longer just videos and adverts. Have had to revert back to BBC to read the news. Sky all these recent reviews are asking for you to reinstate news in readable format. We aren’t all part of the Tick Tock generation
Poor technical performance
News contents is absolutely fine . Unbiased - unlike BBC- good stories etc. sadly the technical issues are annoying- no sound on many live bulletins (unless I knock off Blu tooth) Constant freezing of picture/ content then having to sign out then sign back in just to get another story. Really really poor. I know others who have same experience. I have no issues with CNN etc so why SkyNews???
