Read the passage. Sit with one thought. There's no streak to protect and no score to keep. Daily Pasture is a daily walk through Scripture. A pasture is where a flock is fed and where it is made to lie down. This app is trying to be both — somewhere you are given something worth having, at a pace that is not rushing you. EVERY DAY, A PASSAGE Each day gives you Scripture in its context, a short reflection, questions worth sitting with, a prayer and something to carry into the day. Tell the app how long you have — five minutes or thirty — and the day fits the time you actually have. A STREAK, NOT A DEBT Read each day and a streak grows, with a star at 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100, 200 and 365 days. A star, once earned, stays earned. Miss a day and the count starts again — but nothing you have already reached is taken back, nothing is lost, and nothing scolds you. When you come back you are offered three doors: continue where you left off, skip to today, or start again. All three are fine. The other number is how many days you have spent with Scripture this month. It only goes up. JOURNEYS Guided paths through a theme — anxiety, gratitude, forgiveness — with Scripture chosen and reviewed by a person, not generated. Or build your own: choose a theme, a length and a depth, and it is composed from a curated library. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your journal, your prayers and your reflections are yours.
